Since he is not 100 percent healthy just yet, the next time you see Zack Ryder could be at Wrestlemania. WWE simply does not have time right now to devote any of their resources into coming up with a return story line for the highly underrated star, even though he received a very nice ovation from the audience during the Royal Rumble. Ryder is a candidate to work whatever battle royal at the big pay per view.

Zack Ryder is still one of the more popular stars in WWE, so his return at the Royal Rumble was quite well received, both by the fans in the audience and by the internet wrestling community. Many are still hoping to see him pushed by management, even though we have been given very little signs of that over the years. Ryder revealed to fans afterwards that his shoulder has not completely healed, so he might not be back on the road full time yet.

In a sign that he is very close to being healthy again, Zack Ryder has started training for his potential return to WWE. He spent some time working out at the wrestling school owned by former tag team partner, Curt Hawkins. Ryder also traveled down to Florida to train at the Performance Center, which makes it easier for management to gauge his readiness. Still no word yet on when the actual return to television will take place, though.
