At one point in time, people in WWE felt that Mojo Rowley was going to become their next centerpiece. The faith isn't nearly as high as it used to be. However, that does not mean that management has given up on him just yet. They want to bring him along slowly. See what he can do on the main roster. There is also some hope that Zack Ryder could teach him a few things or two about getting over with the audience.

Some potentially good news for Zack Ryder fans. He might be back on the main roster and given a permanent role by WWE in the near future. Management is said to be highly eager to bring Mojo Rowley to the main roster. Ryder happens to be his tag team partner, so the duo would be brought up together. The front office sent Ryder down to NXT to work with Rowley because they see main event potential in the him.

Hard as it may be to believe, but WWE is moving Zack Ryder even further away from the main roster. The veteran performer is now a full time participant in NXT live events. He will more than likely be utilized rather frequently when the brand starts doing national tours on a regular basis. Ryder has also been tasked with being a mentor for Mojo Rowley, a guy they have big plans for.

For those that are not aware, Kevin Owens issued an open challenge of his own down in NXT. He did so to mock John Cena, the man that he will be wrestling in a rematch against at Money in the Bank. The man that answered his challenge on Thursday night was Zack Ryder. It was not a pretty sight. The under utilized and popular performer barely lasted a minute with Owens. It was the true definition of a squash match.
