Some further information has been revealed in regards to Steve Austin being at Wrestlemania. When he revealed on his podcast that he was going to be watching the pay per view from home, that raised several eyebrows backstage in WWE because he was actually scheduled to make an appearance. The belief is that the creative department even came up with a segment for him. No word yet on why Austin would back out of the appearance.

Some even felt that he might even make an appearance on the actual pay per view. Austin, however, noted on his latest podcast interview that he is actually going to be watching the show from his Broken Skull Ranch. That has raised eyebrows and people are now wondering about the relationship between the two sides.

Inside MMA decided to interview Steve Austin this week, and they prodded him into answering questions about his long rumored return to WWE. The former world heavyweight champion said that he would not be opposed to the idea, and he listed CM Punk as someone that would make an ideal opponent for him. Austin put over Punk by stating that he was one of the best at ring psychology. He feels a match between the two would do good money.

When WWE announced that they were doing another season of Tough Enough, a lot of fans were excited until they heard that Steve Austin was not initially scheduled to be a part of the show. His stock and price demand have increased tremendously since having his own successful television shows. Now that Bill DeMott as resigned as the head trainer for the company, word has it that Austin now has a ton of leverage against management in a negotiation.

One of the more noticeable things from the event was that management was gushing over how well the Steve Austin podcast show has done for them. That has led to speculations that the company might want to bring him on board for a bigger role. Austin might not be willing to sign up so quickly, though, because he would lose some of his creative freedom.

Nothing but positive reactions have come out of Steve Austin interviewing Vince McMahon and Triple H separately on his podcast show. Management loves it because it brought a good amount of attention to the WWE Network. It is being said that they are interested in Stone Cold doing more episodes in conjunction with them. The wrestlers backstage also love the show because Austin has not avoided asking the tougher questions.

Apparently, the alliance between Adam Rose, Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro is not temporary after all. It has been reported that WWE has asked the trio to come up with a name for themselves. The name that the group came up with was the Brass Ring Club, which is a reference to comments made by Vince McMahon during his podcast interview with Steve Austin. Shirts have been made, but management has not given the approval yet.
