Smackdown Superstars Roster
There are still those who consider the Smackdown brand to be the "B Show". Well, apparently those are the people who don't tune in every week to see some of the best performers and matches in the entire WWE.
The Main Eventers
With Edge and the Undertaker still inactive, the Smackdown main event scene feels a bit watered down, especially with the Great Khali as the World Heavyweight Champion and Finlay as a temporary main eventer. |

Great Khali
If not for the injuries, he would definitely not be holding that World Heavyweight Championship. Someone needs to take that belt off of him as soon as possible. |
|
Rey Mysterio
The writers have been waiting for Rey Mysterio to return from his injury because of the lack of main eventers on the Smackdown roster. |

Batista
Batista's spot in the main event scene might be in jeopardy now that his name has been revealed as one of the guys who purchased drugs. |
|
Finlay
Once again, the grizzled veteran is forced to take a spot in the main event. Finlay is a solid performer who knows he belongs in the midcard scene. |
| |
|
|
The Midcard
The Smackdown midcard level is filled with two of the more entertaining guys in the entire company (MVP and Matt Hardy), a veteran who deserves a better push (Kane), and a big man who the writers have desperately been trying to push as a main eventer (Mark Henry). |

MVP
While he's not nearly as great as some fans think he is, he's a good young wrestlers who has been showing improvement every week. |
|
Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy is Smackdown's true MVP for the year 2007. He's been in some of the best matches on Smackdown. Plus, he's carrying MVP to a great feud right now. |

Mark Henry
He's on his way out of the WWE, so the writers want to build him up so he can be hand fed to the Undertaker when he returns in a few weeks. |
|
Kane
Kane is the go-to guy that the writers fall back on whenever they need someone to temporarily fill a main event spot. He deserves better than this. |

Chavo Guerrero
Chavo Guerrero has done a tremendous job, especially with carrying his feud with Rey Mysterio all by himself, but his possible suspension could hurt. |
|
Chris Masters
Not surprisingly, Chris Masters was involved in the recent drug probe. They should really have him do something besides the Masterlock Challenge. |

Chuck Palumbo
They tried pushing him by having him beat random jobbers, but then realized that wasn't working, so now, they're going to put him in an actual feud. |
|
Eugene
It's a shame, but Eugene is always going to be used as comic relief. Until he gets a gimmick change, he'll never get near the midcard level. |

Funaki
His long tenure with the WWE could be coming to a close with his involvement in the federal drug probe. Funaki was never in the WWE's long term plans. |
|
Jamie Noble
Jamie Noble is actually a really gifted in-ring performer, but right now, he's stuck in a comedic storyline with Hornswoggle. Hope that ends soon. |

Jimmy Wang Yang
Another gifted in ring perofrmer who doesn't seem to get a fair shake at moving up to the midcard level. He needs a full time valet. |
|
Kenny Dykstra
He's basically done nothing since moving over during the WWE Draft Lottery from the Raw brand. Well, he does have a part time role as Victoria's valet. |

Ric Flair
There are rumors that Ric Flair hasn't completely healed from his ear injury, which would explain why he isn't consistently used on Smackdown. |
|
Shannon Moore
There's still a lot of people who are unaware that Shannon Moore is back in the WWE, which tells how poorly that he's being used right now. |
