In order to keep the Money in the Bank winner relevant, WWE has decided to throw Sheamus into a hastily built match against Randy Orton at Battleground. Since neither man would be buried by a loss, the outcome is a lot harder to predict than normal. The belief is that the Celtic Warrior will either cheat to win, or he will walk out of the match.

In case you're wondering where Randy Orton has been, the former world heavyweight champion is currently on vacation with his girlfriend. The couple are out somewhere in Bora Bora. WWE, however, still has plans for him at Battleground since it is in his hometown of St Louis. A last minute match against Sheamus is reportedly being discussed.

It appears that WWE is going back to the well again with Sheamus. After previously not being able to keep him in the main event scene, management is set to pull the trigger and make him the top star once more. As of right now, the plan is for the Celtic Warrior to win the heavyweight championship sometimes within the next twelve months.

Going into the Elimination Chamber, Sheamus was initially penciled in as the person that was scheduled to walk out of the enormous steel cage structure with the Intercontinental Championship in his hand. However, as a sign that WWE still continues to change up plans on a frequent basis, management opted to put the belt on Ryback for whatever reasons. A lot of people backstage have been impressed with the Big Guy as of late.

A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is being made, and WWE fans will get to see a very familiar face. Sheamus has landed a role in the film, and he will be portraying a villain named Rocksteady. Photos of the former world heavyweight champion being on the set have surfaced on various mainstream media websites. The Celtic Warrior has long stated that he would love to transition to Hollywood once he is done as a wrestler.

For the longest time, Sheamus wanted really badly to work a Wrestlemania match against the Undertaker. He feels that the opportunity is now gone because his streak has been broken. The Celtic Warrior now wants to work a match against the man that broke that streak, and he wants it to happen at the biggest wrestling pay per view of the year. He stated during an interview that he hopes that WWE finally gives him a crack at Brock Lesnar.

Initially, WWE had planned on giving Sheamus a big heel push so that he could challenge Roman Reigns for the world heavyweight championship. However, those plans were scrapped, and we now have a heel champion in Seth Rollins. The front office knew that there was only so much they could push the Celtic Warrior before he hit the ceiling. Well, rumors are floating around now that they are going to give him the Intercontinental Championship to work with.

During a recent interview, Sheamus revealed some information on his tryout match with WWE. He admitted that they were awful. For whatever reasons, management opted to choose Dolph Ziggler as his opponent, even though Ziggler was a developmental wrestler himself. The Celtic Warrior stated that Finlay was the one that made the odd choice. He also stated that he was hoping to receive more advice than he was being given at the time.

During a podcast interview with Chris Jericho, Sheamus revealed that he had some backstage heat with Shelton Benjamin when he first started out in WWE. He stated that Benjamin had a weird fascination about pointing out how the Celtic Warrior was a rookie, even though he had worked in the industry for approximately seven years before joining the company. The Irish born wrestler stayed professional despite being bothered by it.
