Flair replacing Cena

Even though he is hated by many online, John Cena remains one of the biggest reasons why fans attend WWE events. Since he is taking some time off, management knew that they had to do something to keep fans happy. They decided to add two beloved performers to the shows that Cena is going to be missing. Kane has been added as a replacement and will more than likely wrestler. Ric Flair has also been added as a special guest general manager.

Charlotte in Playboy

The odds of a WWE diva appearing in Playboy magazine in the near future are extremely slim. However, the belief is that the editors of that publication would love to have Charlotte posing in an issue. Not only is she pretty easy on the eyes, but the fact that she is the daughter of Ric Flair, whose name value is still mainstream, makes her that much more appealing. No contact between the two companies is expected.

Shawn Michaels in WCW

Over the years, there have been many conflicting stories in regards to Shawn Michaels coming close to leaving WWE for WCW. Eric Bischoff discussed that topic during his podcast interview with Ric Flair. He denies that a job offer was ever put on the table for Michaels. Bischoff stated that he never really pursued Michaels all that hard because he just got the sense that Michaels was happy working where he was.

Monday Night Raw in Dallas

In October, WWE is doing an episode of Monday Night Raw in Dallas. They are hoping to receive a huge spike in the ratings by bringing in some very big name players. Undertaker, Steve Austin, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels have all been signed for the show. An official announcement has been made by the company that all four of them will be involved in some sort of segment throughout the night.

Randy Savage squashing HHH

During his latest podcast interview, Ric Flair shared a backstage story about a big fight that he had with Randy Savage when the two of them were in WCW. Triple H had just received a contract offer from WWE because he did not want to sign for $250,000 with World Championship Wrestling. Savage wanted to squash HHH in a 30 second match. Flair said that he refused to let that happen because he did not feel that it was right.

Steve Austin and Ric Flair recently had a podcast discussion about how that affects professional wrestling. Both men believe that the controversy over the flag should not prevent the Fabulous Freebirds, a team that utilized that flag as part of their character, from being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

During his latest podcast interview show, Ric Flair was asked to choose four members of the current WWE roster if the Four Horsemen were to be reborn. His first choice was Dolph Ziggler, whom he says is a great worker. Seth Rollins was his next choice. Flair also chose The Miz because he generates good heel heat. His last choice was Antonio Cesaro, who already has the look of a Horsemen.

With the creative department scrambling around backstage to change up the script for Monday Night Raw tonight, the latest rumors from backstage is that WWE has decided to add Ric Flair to the show. No word yet on what his involvement will entail, but he could be doing an angle with Charlotte. There is also speculation that he could be working an angle with Sting, since the two of them have quite the history together.

However, some feel that the two of them still have some animosity from when they were competing to move up the same ladder in WWE all those years ago. Ric Flair is one of those people.
