That means that there will be an empty spot for someone on the roster to try to claim during his absence. It is being said that many backstage are pushing for Dean Ambrose to be given that chance. The one thing that might get in the way of that is that it might be too soon to do a rematch with Seth Rollins.

Angle vs Lesnar at Wrestlemania

Rumors have surfaced that there are those within WWE that are pushing management to set up a huge match between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. The former is set to be a free agent soon and has already stated that he is not in a rush to return to TNA. The latter needs a top level opponent to work against because his feud with the Undertaker has ran its course.

During his podcast interview with Steve Austin, Scott Hall revealed that he was never really comfortable when he was doing the nWo gimmick in WWE. He stated that Vince McMahon told him right off the bat that he was willing to do the stable with just Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan. Hall said that made him uncomfortable. He also mentioned that he knew that McMahon would never really push the New World Order like they should have been.

The only thing preventing it from being a surefire thing is the fact that Michael Hayes was once involved in a racial controversy backstage.

HHH vs Rock at Wrestlemania

As of right now, WWE still has The Rock penciled in for a big time match against Triple H at Wrestlemania. The reason why HHH is the opponent as opposed to someone like Brock Lesnar or even Seth Rollins is because management is really pushing to get Ronda Rousey to make an appearance at the pay per view. UFC won't allow her to wrestle, but they might be convinced to let her do an appearance at ringside.

For the longest time now, the internet wrestling community has accused Nikki Bella of being handed the WWE Divas Championship because of her real life relationship with John Cena. Well, Nikki has decided to respond to those allegations. She stated that it simply is not the case and that Cena has zero pull when it comes to her story lines and push. Fans, however, will unlikely believe her side of the story.

Asuka surpasses Eva Marie

Initially, WWE officials had penciled in Eva Marie for a nice push down in NXT because they wanted to see what she could do with that version of the Divas Championship. Well, that has been on hold, as management is now wanting to put the more experienced Asuka in that position. She is being groomed to work a title program with Bayley in the near future. The hope is that the two of them can produce an awesome match together.

While he is a huge fan of Antonio Cesaro, Daniel Bryan revealed that his favorite act in WWE right now is the New Day. The former world heavyweight champion stated that he loved everything that they're doing right now and that they are the most entertaining act in the industry. It is being said that there is a huge conglomerate backstage that are supportive of the trio because they deserve the push.

Merchandise sales have long played a part in WWE deciding who to push. That bodes well for Paige, as it has now been revealed she sells more action figures than the other divas. Since kids are easier to influence, it should come as no surprise as baby face divas sell more products than their heel counterparts. Being on Total Divas also helps the female performers move merchandise as well.

Prime Time Players split

During a podcast interview with Chris Jericho, the Prime Time Players revealed that they were quite upset with management when WWE forced them to split up as a tag team. They were bothered by it because there was no rhyme or reason behind the move. The split was not being done to give either guy a singles push. It was done just for the sake of doing it, which did not sit well with the duo.
