Extreme Rules 2015 winners

Just as a recap, here are all the winners from Extreme Rules 2015. Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston captured the tag team championship in WWE. John Cena, Seth Rollins and Nikki Bella all retained their respective belts at the pay per view. Other winners include Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler and Roman Reigns. During the kickoff match, Adrian Neville was given a surprising victory over a five time former Intercontinental Champion.

Rollins vs Orton

On the surface, Seth Rollins defeated Randy Orton at Extreme Rules to retain the WWE Heavyweight Championship. Things might not be that way tomorrow on Monday Night Raw because the creative department made sure to make the ending as convoluted as possible. Orton hit the RKO, but it was on Kane instead of Rollins, who also hit the RKO as well. That leaves open the possibility for another rematch between the two performers.

Nikki vs Naomi

During the Divas Championship match, WWE tried to trick the fans by having the Bella Twins work as baby faces. Brie Bella did the routine where she constantly tried to encourage and motivate her sister from ringside. However, everything ended when Brie decided to give a roundhouse kick to Naomi, which enabled Nikki to hit her Torture Rack finishing move and get the win. The belief is that she will drop the belt to Paige soon.

Cena vs Rusev chain match

In a Russian Chain match at Extreme Rules, John Cena managed to successfully retain his United States Heavyweight Championship by defeating Rusev. The match was not as brutal as usual, but that should have been expected because the demographic has changed tremendously over the years. WWE helped the Russian symphatizer gain some heel heat by having him send Lana to the back because the fans were cheering for her.

New Day gets title shot

As some of you already know, plans change pretty often backstage in WWE. Originally, Kalisto and Sin Cara were supposed to challenge Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro for the tag team championship at Extreme Rules. However, management opted to change things up by giving the match to Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston instead, even though the Lucha Dragons received really nice ovations from the live events during the Europe tour.

Seth Rollins retaining title

While WWE has done a solid job of trying to make us believe that Randy Orton has a chance of walking away with the world heavyweight championship at Extreme Rules, the current plan consists of Seth Rollins retaining the belt. He more than likely will be cheating to get that done. Since the front office doesn't want to do a straight up rematch, the belief is that Roman Reigns will be thrown into the mix at Payback in a triple threat match.

Naomi replacing Paige

As some of you may already know, Paige is taking some time off from WWE to film a movie. Since they are still figuring out the filming schedule, the front office decided to write her out off of television. They left open the possibility of her making a return at Extreme Rules to challenge Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship. Reports have now surfaced that Naomi might be required as a replacement because of the filming schedule being changed.

Total Knockouts Impact

While the divas in WWE have taken to social media to beg the front office for more of a chance to shine, TNA has decided to put together an episode of Impact Wrestling this Friday that will feature nothing but their beautiful and talented Knockouts. Awesome Kong and Taryn Terrell will be featured in the main event championship match, while the rest of the show will put the spotlight on Angelina Love, Brooke Tessmacher, Gail Kim, Madison Rayne, and others.
