Tough Enough auditions

We are now one step closer to finding a new performer for WWE. The company has officially announced that they have begun accepting video auditions for the upcoming season of Tough Enough. This is usually where hopefuls send in a quick promo and show off their physique to the front office. Management still needs to find a host for the show since Steve Austin is at odds with the company and Bill DeMott has resigned due to bullying allegations.

ACH on Bill DeMott

During a recent interview, ACH was asked about his tryout with WWE and his experience with Bill DeMott. In addition to saying that he was one of the nicest trainers there, he also mentioned that DeMott was never a jackass to him or anyone else during the session. The ROH star said that it sucks that people came out and caused DeMott to lose his job as the head trainer of NXT. The 27 year star has been eyed as a potential signing as of late.

CJ Parker on Bill DeMott

Now that he is no longer under contract to WWE, people want to know what CJ Parker thinks about Bill DeMott. During a recent interview, he shared his opinions. He stated that DeMott was one of the most passionate guys that he has met in the business. Parker stated that no one spent as much time at the performance center as DeMott did. He also stated that DeMott played a huge part in making NXT what it is today.

Goldust on Tough Enough

Everyone knows that Bill DeMott will not be the coach on Tough Enough next season. Steve Austin has refused to have any involvement with WWE at the moment. The show is definitely going to take place, so a coach will be needed. Through social media, Goldust has expressed a desire to fill that role. He is said to be transitioning from an in ring career to that of a trainer very soon, so this would be quite fitting for both sides.

Ryan Nemeth return

Those of you that are hoping to see Ryan Nemeth making a return to WWE and joining his brother Dolph Ziggler on the main roster should probably exhale because it seems very unlikely to happen. Management had not expressed much interest in a comeback in the first place, but it is being said that since he spoke out about their abuse investigation of Bill DeMott that his chances have dramatically dropped to almost zero.

For a while there, the belief was that Tessa Blanchard was going to be joining WWE and that she was going to be doing so by being a contestant on Tough Enough. Well, her chances have now been hurt greatly because of the abuse situation regarding Bill DeMott. Management is said to be hesitant about going on with the show since it would bring some of the attention back to the allegations and the questionable investigations.

Since he was the one that convinced Judas Devlin to go to the front office to report on the abusive treatment from Bill DeMott, some believed that there would be backstage heat on the legendary performer. However, that is not the case at all. DeMott might be a little upset, but WWE is said to be fine with things because they viewed it as Race simply taking care of one of the younger guys that he is helping in the industry.

In case you have not noticed, accusations against Bill DeMott have not been as vocal as they previously were. Joey Ryan hinted on social media that the WWE legal department might have had something to do with that. He was one of the more vocal of the people who believe that management should have fired DeMott for his inappropriate behavior towards the developmental wrestlers. Ryan has a well known hatred of DeMott.

WWE was not as oblivious to the accusations thrown at Bill DeMott as many fans assume them to be. There are cameras installed throughout the performance center, and the company does keep footage of all the practices. The move was done a couple of years back because the front office wanted to protect themselves from potential lawsuits from disgruntled developmental wrestlers who ended up not making it to the main roster.

Bill DeMott refutes

Earlier in the month, allegations surfaced that Bill DeMott once had Luke Gallows strip naked and do a stink face to Zack Ryder during a developmental session. The former WWE head trainer has responded to the allegations. While he does acknowledge that the incident happened, he refutes the notion that it was his idea. DeMott stated that the other trainees were the ones that came up with that because they wanted to skip the session.
