With Summerslam sold out already, things are not going to change much in WWE.

Summerslam sold out

Over the weekend, WWE released Summerslam tickets. Before the sun even set, they were all sold out. The event is taking place in August. The location is the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. That is generally one of the hotter venues for World Wrestling Entertainment. It does not come as a great shock that the show would move seats that quickly. It is great for the company. However, it might not be the best thing for fans. It means that the front office is more than likely going to be sticking to their formula.

Summerslam main event

August is a long time away. Management has yet to finalize plans for Wrestlemania 33. And that is just a few days away. The odds of them having concrete plans for Summerslam are pretty slim. They might not even have the main event in mind yet. WWE has to take a lot of pride in knowing that they can sell out a pay per view without even announcing the headline match. The front office has to believe that their formula is working out. They might not need to try as hard since tickets are already sold out.

Brock Lesnar headlining Summerslam

WWE rumors are floating around that Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are going to headline Wrestlemania 34. The pay per view is still more than a year away. The odds of management having something in place already are slim as well. Sometimes, World Wrestling Entertainment lacks patience. If the company feels that they need a big match at Summerslam, then they might pull the trigger early. Lesnar is more than likely going to sign another contract with WWE. UFC no longer appears to be an option for him. Reigns is going to need another big match. It might take place in August.
