He stated that he really wanted a variety of opponents to work with so that his reign would be much more memorable. In a rather interesting move, Rey Mysterio has been crowned the new Destiny Heavyweight Champion. He captured the title in a triple threat match in Ontario that also featured former WWE star Justin Gabriel. In case you didn't know, the promoter for this company is Santino Marella, another former World Wrestling Entertainment performer as well. This means that Mysterio will be heading back to Canada more frequently this year.

The internet wrestling community was buzzing over rumors that James Storm had attended an NXT event earlier in the month. Well, some further fuel has been added to that particular fire. The former world heavyweight champion is said to be in Orlando today and may have been spotted at the same venue as the Takeover event. Photos have surfaced online of what appears to be Storm entering the facility with developmental trainer, Billy Gunn.
