During a recent interview with Rolling Stones, Ronda Rousey was asked once again about her interest in professional wrestling. When asked if she was ready to become a wrestler, the UFC star flat out said that she was definitely ready. Rousey impressed some people by revealing just how much she keeps up with WWE and NXT. To lower the expectations, however, she wisely reminded people of all the commitments she has in her life at the moment.

As some of you may already know, Ronda Rousey has been ruled out for Wrestlemania because she is filming a movie. Even if she were available, WWE might be hesitant to use at all. The UFC star recently defended recently suspended Nate Diaz and stated that MMA should not test for marijuana. Since World Wrestling Entertainment cares greatly about their brand, they might not want to be associated with those comments.

For those of you that were clinging on to hope that we would get to see Ronda Rousey wrestling at Wrestlemania next year, it is time to exhale. In addition to Dana White and UFC refusing to give her permission, Rousey herself has revealed that she has signed on to do a movie in Indonesia during the month of March and April. There would not be enough time for her to train for the match.

An incident took place at the latest GFW television taping, and it has left many to wonder if it was scripted or not. Phil Baroni jumped over the barrier and headed towards the ring. Security had to stop the former UFC star. Apparently, he has some beef with Chael Sonnen, who is a commentator for the promotion. There were reports earlier in the year that Global Force Wrestling was setting up a match between the two of them.

During an interview session to promote Summerslam, Brock Lesnar told ESPN that he felt that Vince McMahon was better than Dana White. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion acknowledged that the statement might bother White a little, but it is true. Lesnar also did not have too much of a problem with White saying that wrestling was fake because it is really scripted.

A match like this would easily generate interest from the mainstream media, especially all the major sports outlet. Baroni has been training at a wrestling school owned by D-Lo Brown.
