Chris Jericho defends Bill DeMott

Knowing that he has a respected voice with the internet wrestling community, Chris Jericho decided to stand up for Bill DeMott, who has been facing allegations of abuse this week. Jericho stated that DeMott was a good friend and a great trainer. He also suggested that if developmental wrestlers cannot handle the heat, then they should quit. Jericho noted that his training with Stu Hart was much worse than what the NXT performers go through.

Seth Rollins training

A lot of wrestlers end up staying in the business well beyond their time because they did not bother to make retirement plans while they were making big bucks. Seth Rollins definitely does not want to become one of those guys. He already has his plan in place. Despite working a very hectic schedule for WWE, Rollins is still quite involved in the wrestling school that started and owns in Illinois. He is frequently seen training wrestlers there himself.

Solomon Crowe saves woman

Earlier this month, Solomon Crowe made headlines with wrestling fans when he made his debut in NXT. Well, he just made headlines with the outside world as well. The developmental wrestler was at a store after training at the WWE Performance Center when he heard a loud noise. Upon seeing that it was a car crash, Crowe and a friend immediately ran to the scene of the accident. They ended up prying the door open to rescue a woman trapped inside.

Rock quits wrestling

A lot of wrestling fans have no idea how close we were to never being graced by the presence of The Rock. Before he became a global superstar, he was a broke and struggling developmental wrestler down in Memphis. According to a recent interview, Koko B Ware claims that he was the one that helped convinced the future world heavyweight champion to keep chasing his dreams, keep training hard and give WWE a try before looking elsewhere for work.

Zack Ryder training

In a sign that he is very close to being healthy again, Zack Ryder has started training for his potential return to WWE. He spent some time working out at the wrestling school owned by former tag team partner, Curt Hawkins. Ryder also traveled down to Florida to train at the Performance Center, which makes it easier for management to gauge his readiness. Still no word yet on when the actual return to television will take place, though.

Noelle Foley at Impact Wrestling

Since the event was being held in their hometown of New York City, Noelle Foley and Dewey Foley decided to pay a visit to TNA during the first episode of Impact Wrestling on Destination America. The two of them were allowed backstage to greet the wrestlers before taking their seats in the front row. As many of you already know, Noelle is training to become a professional wrestler, so it is a smart move for her to network within the industry.

CM Punk chooses training camp

When CM Punk announced that he was signing a contract with UFC, many immediately wondered which training camp he would choose, in order to get him ready for his first professional MMA fight. Reports have surfaced that he has chosen Roufusport, a Milwaukee based camp that is just 90 minutes away from his hometown of Chicago. Roufusport is well known for their training in strikes, but they also have Olympic level wrestling coaches as well.
