While WWE would never admit this, they are reportedly disappointed with how Tough Enough has been playing out. The show might create a couple of trends on social media here and there, but the internet wrestling community seems largely uninterested in the program. Triple H monitors social media, so there is a very good chance that the program will get a major overhaul next season.

During a recent interview, Curt Hawkins shared his opinions on Tough Enough, which is making a return this year. He stated that while it was a good television show, there really is no payoff in the end. Hawkins, who is now a trainer at a wrestling school that he owns and operates, stated that it is unfair for WWE to put these untrained performers in front of national television and expect them to be prepared after just three months of training.

As wrestling fans have been pondering his involvement with the show since the announcement of a new season of Tough Enough, reports have now surfaced that WWE has yet to even contact Steve Austin to be a part of the program. It is being said that management is leaning towards using Bill DeMott and the other trainers as the host of the show. There are speculations that the move by the company is being done for financial reasons.
