Even though he is no longer with WWE, Hulk Hogan is still relevant enough to the mainstream media for them to interview the former world heavyweight champion. He recently stated that he wished that the company would have simply suspended him for the racial controversy as opposed to firing him. Doing that made Hogan look a lot more guilty than he feel that he is. The belief is that he will be back with World Wrestling Entertainment some day.

As some of you may already know, Ronda Rousey has been ruled out for Wrestlemania because she is filming a movie. Even if she were available, WWE might be hesitant to use at all. The UFC star recently defended recently suspended Nate Diaz and stated that MMA should not test for marijuana. Since World Wrestling Entertainment cares greatly about their brand, they might not want to be associated with those comments.

Maryland Championship Wrestling was more than happy to have Kevin Nash at their live event this weekend, even after he was arrested for battery and suspended almost immediately by WWE. However, the former world heavyweight champion opted to cancel out of the appearance at the last minute, citing some sort of medical emergency involving his son. The promotion was able to replace him with Mick Foley, thus keeping their fan base pleased.

While WWE immediately suspended Kevin Nash after he was arrested for battery, there is another wrestling promotion that is still standing behind the big guy. Maryland Championship Wrestling has announced that they are still honoring the contract that they had with the former world heavyweight champion, who agreed to make an appearance at their live event in Joppa on Saturday night. Nash should have no problems with being booked on the indies.
