In a very smart move, CM Punk has decided to postpone his UFC debut so that he can have surgery to repair a herniated disc that was suffered after years of being in a professional wrestling ring. While some WWE fans will criticize Punk for avoiding the fight, it is a wiser move to be as healthy as possible before stepping foot into the Octagon. Otherwise, you lower your chances of picking up the much needed credibility and victory.

Some somber news to unfortunately start the week for professional wrestling fans. Bret Hart has announced that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The WWE legend stated that he will be undergoing surgery in the near future to see if he can finally beat the disease. Hart vowed to his fans that he will do everything that he can to fight the disease. Bret also mentioned finding inspiration from someone that lost their fight to brain cancer.

In a sign of how dedicated she is to the professional wrestling business, Natalya revealed that she has major issues with her eyes that causes her a lot of discomfort and pain. The longtime WWE diva stated that she could have surgery to repair the issue but doing so would force her to retire as an in ring performer, something that she is not quite ready to do at this point in time. She will continue to work through the issue.

Hardy did botch a top rope spot, and he sold a leg injury as he walked to the back after the match. During a recent podcast interview, Hardy told fans that he was going to wrestle in January despite needing another surgery to repair his knee injury.
