Stephen Amell attributes some of that to the new followers that he received by doing a match at Summerslam for WWE. He took to social media to thank all of the professional wrestling fans that checked out his show. Amell seems genuinely grateful towards the industry.

Stephen Amell has been receiving praise from the industry because he worked a match at Summerslam without actually promoting his television show, Arrow. The actor basically did it because he was a lifelong fan of professional wrestling and wanted to live out his dream.

On Monday Night Raw, a mysterious figure showed up and joined the Wyatt Family. His name is Braun Strowman, and he had trained in NXT for the past two years. Reports have surfaced that he was initially scheduled to be a part of Summerslam, but WWE really wanted to make this episode really special. Prior to joining professional wrestling, Strowman used to compete in strongmen competition across the world.

Whenever celebrities are brought into WWE to work a match, there's a lot of skepticism from the internet wrestling community. Many felt the same way when Stephen Amell was brought in for Summerslam. The longtime wrestling fan, though, proved everyone wrong. He did much better than expected. The Arrow star received praised from both the people backstage and the mainstream media.

Another of the lesser discussed Summerslam spoilers is the one involving the Intercontinental championship. Much of the internet wrestling community is not very interested in the match, even though the performers are putting on good efforts. Despite some concerns about him being injury prone, Ryback is expected to walk out of the pay per view as the titleholder.

When Scott Hall got into an alcohol fueled incident at an independent wrestling show not too long ago, the belief was that WWE was going to avoid him for a long period of time. It turns out that it was not as long as many had expected. The former Intercontinental Champion has been signed to make an appearance during Summerslam weekend. He will more than likely sign autographs and take photos with fans.

Lesnar praises McMahon

During an interview session to promote Summerslam, Brock Lesnar told ESPN that he felt that Vince McMahon was better than Dana White. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion acknowledged that the statement might bother White a little, but it is true. Lesnar also did not have too much of a problem with White saying that wrestling was fake because it is really scripted.

When Jonathan Coachman made the leap from WWE to ESPN, the hope was that he might some day be able to bring more exposure to professional wrestling. That day might end up being Summerslam. The sports anchor teased fans through social media about potentially making a return at the pay per view. When asked even further, he made it sound as if he was not going to be there just as a spectator.

Much of the internet wrestling community are predicting a victory for the Undertaker at Summerslam because they feel that WWE owes him a return win. However, that may not necessarily be the case, as management could be building towards something bigger than one match. Brock Lesnar is still viewed as a tremendous draw, so they might actually be building him up some more.

Management now only wants him to make an appearance during Summerslam weekend. He might not even show up at the pay per view.
