One of the big reasons why John Cena is branching out away from WWE is because he wants to draw in new fans to professional wrestling. He feels that he has already drawn in as much of an audience as possible through traditional methods. Cena now wants to draw in fans by doing movies and television shows. The former world heavyweight champion still has no plans of leaving permanently.

TNA India tour postponed

For quite some time now, fans in India were expected that TNA was going to be bringing Impact Wrestling over to their country for a tour in December. Unfortunately for them, they are going to have to wait a bit longer to see that happen. Dixie Carter has decided to postpone the tour. She cites logistical reasons, one of which being the safety of the performers.

While doing a podcast interview show with Chris Jericho, Luke Harper revealed something very interesting about his personal life. Prior to being signed to a developmental contract with WWE, he was working on the independent wrestling scene. Since he needed to supplement his money, Harper also worked as a librarian for the city. He stated that he was in charge of keeping up with the text books.

Mr Anderson at Survivor Series

There were small rumblings over the weekend that Mr Anderson was going to make a surprise appearance at the Survivor Series. That stems from the fact that the former world heavyweight champion was actually in Atlanta for the weekend. However, he was not there because of WWE. Anderson worked an independent wrestling show for a promotion owned by Luke Gallows.

Undertaker not a draw

Through FOX Sports, Jim Ross revealed a rather interesting story about Ole Anderson. Back when Undertaker was wrestling in WCW, his contract was coming to an end. Ross felt that the deal should have been renewed and tried to convince Anderson to make it happen. However, Anderson told Ross that he felt that Undertaker would never be a draw and doubted his future in the business.

During an Off The Top Rope segment on ESPN, Charlotte discussed her previous career choices before deciding to become a WWE star. In high school, she always wanted to get a full scholarship to a Division I university to play volleyball, which she did. She wanted to do that before becoming a personal trainer, something that she wanted to do back in high school. Wrestling became an alternate option later on.

While filming an interview segment for Oprah's Master Class, Dwayne Johnson revealed some further details about his battle with depression. He was having a hard time because his football career was not going as well as he had planned. Johnson didn't have the money to go out, so he just stayed home and cleaned the apartment. He was able to break out of the depression by choosing to enter the wrestling industry.

During her latest interview, Taryn Terrell is sounding more and more like a conflicted person that is ready to leave professional wrestling. The only thing preventing her from doing that, it seems, is the fact that she still loves to entertain people. Taryn also mentioned that she does not blame WWE, TNA or Playboy for the things that she has done in her life. She regrets them and hopes to be closer to her religion from now on.

There is a bit of a dispute online right now about the actual salary that WWE is paying Alberto Del Rio. One source has him being paid approximately $1.5 million, while another conflicting source states that it is much less than that. Konnan decided to chime in since he knows Del Rio personally. The former WCW star stated that Del Rio would not be back with World Wrestling Entertainment if he wasn't making a ton of money.

Regardless of what he chooses to do with his career in professional wrestling, Tyson Kidd will more than likely have that life changing moment be featured heavily on an upcoming season of Total Divas. If he retires, then the producers will focus on his transition from being a wrestler to working a normal job. If he decides to come back, then the focus will be on his safety in the ring.
