While the internet wrestling community is making a big deal about it, the staff at TNA were not surprised that Impact Wrestling lost more than 100,000 viewers this week. Dixie Carter and her team knew that a drop usually takes place whenever a television show changes days. It has happened to them before, and it has also happened to Smackdown. Once fans figure out that they have moved, then the numbers will slowly start increasing again.

It looks like TNA is going to be competing with WWE head to head once again. This time, however, it will be Impact Wrestling going up against Smackdown. The Fight Network has revealed that they are moving the weekly wrestling show in Canada to same Wednesday night time slot that Destination America announced earlier in the day. The decision to do so was more a result of the network executives as opposed to Dixie Carter.

On the latest episode of Smackdown, Bray Wyatt had a moment with Erick Rowan after winning the match. That has led to speculations from within the internet wrestling community about a possible Wyatt Family reunion. That is actually an idea that has been discussed, as the front office feels that Rowan has not been able to connect with the audience whatsoever. Luke Harper has a little connection, but it's not enough to take him to the top of WWE.

Vince McMahon caused a bit of an uproar with the internet wrestling community when he stated that Antonio Cesaro was missing something that prevented him from being elevated to the main event. In a recent interview, Daniel Bryan decided to defend Cesaro, stating that if the two of them were to work a lengthy match together on Smackdown, it would easily generate a huge reaction from WWE fans.

A rather interesting offer was made to Dolph Ziggler recently. A porn company asked him if they could produce some branded wrestling tights for him to wear on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. Brazzers wanted to be the official sponsor of the former world heavyweight champion. Of course, this is simply a marketing ploy by someone that is very adept at social media marketing because WWE would never allow such a thing to happen.

Those that watched Smackdown this week have noticed that Wade Barrett has added a new wrinkle to gimmick. The WWE Intercontinental Champion has started doing a thing called the Bad News Zone, which is essentially a play on TMZ, the gossip website that routinely covers professional wrestling. There are talks that this could be a temporary thing, but as is usually the case with management, it all hinges upon the reaction from the audience.

On the latest episode of Smackdown, Bray Wyatt cut a vague promo, and it has the entire internet wrestling community going into speculation mode. During the interview, he stated that he does not fear anyone, living or dead. That has led to rumors that WWE has started his highly anticipated and long rumored story line with the Undertaker. The two of them were reportedly penciled in for a match at Wrestlemania, pending the health of the Phenom.

One of the more interesting things that came out of the Pro Wrestling Illustrated podcast interview with Alberto Del Rio is the fact that WWE fines their performers if they were to stray from the scripted promos that the creative department provides for them during Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. The former world heavyweight champion stated that performers were basically like robots. He also revealed that he had been fined a couple of times.

A quick glance around the internet wrestling community, and one can see that The Ascension has been receiving some heat from online fans. A big part of that is because they have been beating local wrestlers on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. There is a reason why WWE is doing that, and it is on purpose. Management wants them to generate as much heel heat from the fans as possible, so they are booking Viktor and Konnor favorably against jobbers.
