Seiya Sanada leaves TNA

When Seiya Sanada was written off of Impact Wrestling, the belief was that he would be done with the TNA. That has now been confirmed. However, the speculation that he was returning to Japan to work for Wrestle-1 again, that has been proven false. While that might still be in the plans later on in the future, Sanada is currently accepting booking from independent wrestling promoters across North America. He wants to stick around for a little bit.

Richie Steamboat forced to retire

When Richie Steamboat left WWE, he kept his hopes of being able to return some day. Unfortunately, professional wrestling might have been robbed of a potential superstar. Ricky Steamboat confirmed in an interview that his son has been forced to retire because he injured four discs in his back. Considering how well NXT is doing nowadays, Steamboat could have easily shined down there because he gets the business.

Great Khali backing down

Since he is still a well known and beloved figure in India, the majority of the country believed the Great Khali when he told the mainstream media there that he was going to be making his return to WWE soon. However, the former world heavyweight champion has softened up on that stance quite a bit in a new interview. He stated that he was really busy with his own wrestling school. He also revealed that he would not be at the next Wrestlemania.

Great Khali not returning

A lot of the older wrestlers on the independent wrestling circuit like to tell fans that they are returning to WWE soon. Apparently, the Great Khali is one of those guys. He has been telling the mainstream media in India that he is returning to the promotion soon. However, representatives from the company are reportedly denying those rumors. They stated that they have no plans to bring the former world heavyweight champion back into the mix.

Jericho interviewing Guerrero

As many of you know by now, John Cena was the very first guest on the Chris Jericho podcast interview show that he is doing for WWE. His second guest is a rather interesting one as well. Jericho will be having a discussion with Vickie Guerrero on Wednesday. She will more than likely talk about what she has been doing since leaving the wrestling business. It will be interesting if Jericho asks about why she refused an offer to return.

Batista at Wrestlemania

For those of you that are hoping to see Batista making a return at the next Wrestlemania, there is some bad news. He is going to be rather busy next spring. It has now been announced by Marvel that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will begin taping in February. The former world heavyweight champion will be reprising the role of Drax the Destroyer, and he should be too occupied to train for a return to the wrestling ring.

Alex Riley bashes AJ

While he did receive a bit of attention from the internet wrestling community by making a return to the ring and challenging Kevin Owens to a brawl, Alex Riley received ten times that amount when he decided to take a little jab at AJ Lee, who recently decided to retire from WWE. He mocked the tattoo that she got whenever she became the longest reigning Divas Champion by joking that she should get one to commemorate her departure.

Brittany return to TNA

While she may eventually do so in the future, as of right now, Brittany is not planning on making a return to TNA anytime soon. She is doing rather well on the independent wrestling circuit. The woman known as Santana Garrett was recently given the NWA version of the women's championship. She also holds titles in other promotions. Building up her name value and credentials on the indies is the best thing for her career at this moment.

Eve Torres pregnant

If you are one of those people that are hoping that Eve Torres makes her way back to WWE some day, then you're in for a bit of disappointment. She just announced that she is pregnant. The due date is some time in September of this year. That makes a return to professional wrestling even more unlikely. Of course, the possibility wasn't all that high to begin with, as she has found herself a nice new career as a self defense instructor.

Santino Marella reality show

Since his injury is taking longer to heal than initially expected, there is a chance that Santino Marella might never be able to make his in ring return to WWE. Fortunately, though, he planned ahead. Marella has a couple of outside business interest, including a reality television show that is being worked on. His wrestling and MMA school is slated to be the premise of the series. The Fight Network will be the ones to air the unnamed show.
