While official numbers are not released since they are a privately held company, reports have surfaced that TNA offered James Storm 250 percent more than what WWE was offering him to work on the NXT brand. Rumors have it that World Wrestling Entertainment offered Storm less than $100,000 a year, which means that he has a six figure deal to become one of the centerpieces of Impact Wrestling for the time being.

Earlier in the month, Josh Bredl picked up a ton of backstage heat when he made comments about the Social Outcasts on social media. There is now talks that the Tough Enough winner might be placed into the Royal Rumble so that veteran WWE performers can punish him in the ring. World Wrestling Entertainment has done that before with Daniel Puder, who was released shortly after the in ring punishment took placed.

As some of you may already know, Rosa Mendes has been away from Monday Night Raw because she is currently pregnant. She recently noted that she was the first pregnant diva that WWE has employed. Many backstage believe that Rosa would have been released from her contract had Total Divas not been in existence. World Wrestling Entertainment felt that her pregnancy would be good for their reality television show.

Rumors spread like wildfire today about an imminent release of Daniel Bryan after an anonymous email was released by someone that claims to work in the human resources department for WWE. They stated that the office was asked to process a contract release for Bryan. Upon hearing the rumors, World Wrestling Entertainment released a statement denying that Daniel was about to depart from the company.

While doing an interview to promote GFW, Jeff Jarrett revealed that his company was certainly interested in signing Daniel Bryan if he were to ask for his release from WWE. The odds of that happening are increasing since Bryan is growing frustrated with being on the sidelines. He has publicly mentioned that he is willing to go outside of World Wrestling Entertainment if he needs to because he wants badly to wrestle again.

Through social media, Mick Foley revealed that he recently filmed a movie called Chokeslam, which sounds like it is a wrestling themed film. It is interesting to note that the cast also consists of Lance Storm and Davey Boy Smith Jr. A female Tough Enough contestant was also involved in the movie. Foley did not reveal what their roles were. Producers are trying to find funding to release the movie.

Rumors about Jim Ross signing with TNA have been floating around since the legendary commentator was released by WWE. For whatever reasons, they heated up again this week. Ross felt compelled to address the issue via social media. He stated that the rumors were not true. Ross also added that Impact Wrestling already has a great announcing team so he is really not needed.

Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Brad Maddox had been released by WWE because of comments that he made towards fans in Indianapolis during a dark match on Monday Night Raw. The 31 year old did not take long to decide on what he wants to do with his career next. A return to the independent wrestling circuit was announced. Maddox also revealed that he will be going by Mad Braddox from now on.

Through Penguin Random House, AJ Lee has signed a contract to write and release her autobiography. The former WWE Divas Champion will be spending much of 2016 writing down her memoirs. AJ spends much of her time supporting CM Punk in Wisconsin as he trains for his UFC debut. She also makes various appearances at comic and wrestling convention. The book is scheduled to be released in early 2017.
