It appears that Bobby Lashley and Kurt Angle have come through for TNA. Their world heavyweight championship match was heavily promoted, and it increased viewership for that episode of Impact Wrestling by a very impressive margin of 20 percent. Executives at Destination America should be quite pleased with that, especially since they were the ones that pushed the front office to make Angle the centerpiece attraction again.

In case you missed the last few episodes of Impact Wrestling, Kurt Angle defeated Bobby Roode and Eric Young to become the top contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship that is currently held by Bobby Lashley. Reports have surfaced that management was instructed to push the Olympic gold medalist because having a real American hero would be great for a the theme that Destination America has been trying to push for themselves.

During an interview with Great North Wrestling, Dan Severn revealed the interesting reason why he opted to walk away from WWE. He stated that management approached him about an idea where he would have the numbers 666 tattooed on his forehead. Severn would then have been utilized as a disciple of the Undertaker. For religious reasons, he refused. The front office then threatened to push him down the ladder, so he left the company.

This experiment that WWE did with Kevin Owens being given an immediate push has seemingly paid off instantly. Not only is there more interest from the internet wrestling community, but ticket sales at NXT live events have been doing better than usual since Owens was booked in main event matches against Finn Balor during the tour. Owens is also reportedly moving a good amount of merchandise, so a promotion to the main roster is expected.

Some good news for those of you that have been hoping for TNA to give Brutus Magnus another push towards the top of the ladder. It appears that management is quite interested in doing just that. The decision was made recently to pair him up with Mickie James, his real lie wife and the mother of his child, on Impact Wrestling. The hope is that her popularity will be an asset in trying to get the fans to buy into Magnus again.

When Konnor and Viktor were doing their thing in NXT, they were one of the hottest acts in the entire WWE. That was why there was a good amount of hype from the internet wrestling community for their arrival on the main roster. With the way that their first televised loss was handled on Monday Night Raw this week, it is now safe to say that The Ascension will not be receiving a huge push in the tag team division. They are lost in the shuffle now.

Many are curious to see how much of a push he is going to receive, as some felt that he should have already been a main event performer in this industry by now. His current company wants to start him off a bit slower than what fans would like. There are talks that he will form a tag team with Crimson.

Some bad news for the Wolves. Eddie Edwards suffered some sort of injury during the latest round of Impact Wrestling taping, and reports are surfacing that it is a broken foot, which would require him to take some time away from TNA to recover. The duo was set for a major push with management putting the tag team championship on them a couple of weeks ago after having two legendary teams put them over before then.

It's something that a lot of fans have long been begging for, but WWE is finally going to slowly start replacing John Cena as the top star in the company. He would step into the Bruno Sammartino role, while Roman Reigns will step into the Bob Backlund role. For those that do not know about that particular part of wrestling history, Backlund was pushed by the company as the hot new thing even though Sammartino was still the biggest draw.

Fans in the various arenas that the company visits and the internet wrestling community both agree that Daniel Bryan deserves a big push from WWE. Unfortunately, that does not appear to be in the works. Management is said to be leaning towards neglecting the public pleas because they simply do not feel that Bryan is the right guy as the face of the company. He will still be utilized high up on the card, however, but he will not be the lead.
