There were small rumblings over the weekend that Mr Anderson was going to make a surprise appearance at the Survivor Series. That stems from the fact that the former world heavyweight champion was actually in Atlanta for the weekend. However, he was not there because of WWE. Anderson worked an independent wrestling show for a promotion owned by Luke Gallows.

Jay Lethal on WWE

While doing an interview with the Nashville Scene, Jay Lethal was once again asked about his desire to work for WWE. He stated that most wrestling fans got into the business in large part because they were fans of that promotion as a kid. He is no exception. With that in mind, he stated that he would absolutely love to work for a company that is a fan of. However, Lethal also noted that he would be fine if it never happened.

TNA contacts Goldberg

As some of you may already know, Goldberg and Bram are appearing in a movie together called Check Point, which is currently in post production and will be released some time in 2016. Promotions for the film have already begun, and TNA cleverly found themselves a window of opportunity. Management contacted Goldberg to see if he would be interested in showing up on Impact Wrestling to promote his movie.

Hernandez done with LU

When asked if he would make a return to Lucha Underground, Shawn Hernandez flat out stated that the ship has sailed on that. He has backstage heat with the promotion because of how they handled his contract situation with TNA. Hernandez really wanted to be with a bigger promotion, but he lost that chance when the controversy arose. The belief is that Hernandez will continue to work the independent wrestling circuit.

Batista bashes WWE again

While he recently stated that he would consider a return to the promotion, Batista once again decided to bash WWE. The former world heavyweight champion had issues with a camera man that did not know his name. The 46 year old actor stated that there are fans that know more about professional wrestling than some of the people that World Wrestling Entertainment has been hiring lately.

Nick Dinsmore

Nick Dinsmore launches promotion

Earlier in the month, it was revealed that Nick Dinsmore had been in negotiations with WWE for some sort of contract. If he signs the deal, then he is going to be an extremely busy man. Dinsmore recently launched his own wrestling promotion. It is based in South Dakota, which is not really known as a hot bed for professional wrestling. Proceeds from his shows will be donated to local veterans.

Kota Ibushi out injured

Kota Ibushi has not been wrestling as of late. Fans are aware that he is injured, but they were not informed of the details. New Japan has revealed that Ibushi is suffering from a cervical disc herniation injury. The two sides are currently in negotiations for a brand new contract. Ibushi is viewed highly enough that management also allows the performer to work for other promotions whenever he wants.

Alberto Del Rio not allowed to return

When Alberto Del Rio made his surprising return to WWE, officials in AAA were under the impression that he would be returning to their promotion to drop the Mega Championship to another performer. Well, it looks like that will not be taking place. World Wrestling Entertainment is refusing to allow Del Rio to do the time honored tradition of dropping the belt. It also forced AAA to postpone their television taping.

Jerry Jarrett returning to wrestling

For the longest time, Jerry Jarrett swore that he would never return to professional wrestling. The man who helped start TNA has had a change of heart. Jarrett has announced that he was making a triumphant return to the industry. However, he has not provided details on which promotion it will be with. Jarrett is such a trusted figure in the business that Vince McMahon once tapped him as a replacement in case McMahon was sent to jail.

Shawn Daivari not in GFW

Back in August, rumors surfaced that Shawn Daivari was going to be headed to GFW. The only thing holding him back at the time was that he needed to see what the future of Lucha Underground had in store. Now that the promotion is staying in business, Daivari will not be joining Jeff Jarrett in Global Force Wrestling. Daivari has a contract that prevents him from appearing on television for another promotion.
