Management reserves the right to do that because they want their performers on television.

The promotion now has a television deal in England. Fans in that country will now be able to watch Amped thanks to a new deal between Global Force Wrestling and Boulder Creek International. Doing well overseas will help Jarrett leverage the networks in the United States.

Advertisers in America are not particular fond of professional wrestling, but the demographics in the United Kingdom are a bit different. Securing a television deal overseas and doing strong numbers would help Global Force Wrestling get a deal in the USA.

The president of TNA revealed through social media that she is currently in France and negotiating deals in that country. No details were provided, but the speculation is that they want more of a presence there. A tour is a great possibility.

He was officially announced as a member of the roster today by Jeff Jarrett at a press conference in Las Vegas. Since leaving WWE, Masters has been able to maintain a busy schedule as promoters find him reliable and popular. He has also worked extensively overseas, something Global Force Wrestling values.

There appears to be a minor rift between executives in TNA and the people running Destination America. Dixie Carter and her staff love taping episodes of Impact Wrestling in England because those shows tend to be more exciting than the ones that are taped domestically. Network officials, however, prefer that all the episodes be done in the United States because that fits the theme of their channel a lot more than doing things overseas.

A memorial was held in honor of Perro Aguayo this week. He passed away after an accident in the ring during a match. Konnan, who was the first person to check on Aguayo after the incident, was there in person. Rey Mysterio, however, was not. The belief is that he felt that his presence would be a distraction and might actually upset a couple of people who blame him for the death. Mysterio is currently heading overseas for wrestling show.

First and foremost, Tatsumi Fujinami is one of those guys that really deserve to be inducted into any and every wrestling hall of fame on the planet. However, there is some business involved to WWE choosing to honor him at Wrestlemania. The front office wanted to lure fans in Japan to watch the pay per view. They would love to observe one of their own being celebrated overseas. World Wrestling Entertainment is doing two shows in Tokyo in July.
