He was officially announced as a member of the roster today by Jeff Jarrett at a press conference in Las Vegas. Since leaving WWE, Masters has been able to maintain a busy schedule as promoters find him reliable and popular. He has also worked extensively overseas, something Global Force Wrestling values.

There appears to be a minor rift between executives in TNA and the people running Destination America. Dixie Carter and her staff love taping episodes of Impact Wrestling in England because those shows tend to be more exciting than the ones that are taped domestically. Network officials, however, prefer that all the episodes be done in the United States because that fits the theme of their channel a lot more than doing things overseas.

A memorial was held in honor of Perro Aguayo this week. He passed away after an accident in the ring during a match. Konnan, who was the first person to check on Aguayo after the incident, was there in person. Rey Mysterio, however, was not. The belief is that he felt that his presence would be a distraction and might actually upset a couple of people who blame him for the death. Mysterio is currently heading overseas for wrestling show.

First and foremost, Tatsumi Fujinami is one of those guys that really deserve to be inducted into any and every wrestling hall of fame on the planet. Since he is having a bit of a hard time trying to secure a television contract with one of the national networks, Jeff Jarrett is said to be pitching the idea of doing a test run. GFW would run a super show that would feature talent from AAA, New Japan, the independent wrestling circuit in the US and international stars from the many business deals that he has set up overseas. Thus far, none of the networks have expressed interest in that.

For those that are wondering, the reason why Alundra Blayze opted out of having Playboy publish her nude pictures is because she signed a deal with All Japan Pro Wrestling. At the time, she was still focused on her career as a professional wrestler, an she did not want to ruin her chance to work for a prestigious promotion overseas. The company has very strict rules on how their performers behave outside of the ring, and Alundra understood that.

A name that has not been spoken much lately has joined the long list of potential roster members for GFW. During his latest business trip to the United States, the Great Muta did more than work a match on Impact Wrestling. He also did some scouting as well. The legend from Japan paid a visit to the wrestling school owned by Dory Funk Jr in Florida. Muta was looking for talented performers that might be interested in heading overseas and working for his Wrestle 1 promotion. Funk is a legendary figure in that country, so his students are valuable.

While there are interests from wrestling promotions in the United States, including TNA, Luke Gallows is said to not currently be interested in signing a deal to come back just yet. He is currently doing extremely well in New Japan and is actually having a lot of fun with the other members of the Bullet Club. Plus, Gallows is making a good amount of money, with some stating that he is making more overseas than he would in his home country.
