Monday Night Raw viewers

WWE discovered some disturbing news when they checked the ratings for Monday Night Raw this week. The show lost more than 1.5 million viewers in the span of seven days. The company has trouble keeping people interested after Wrestlemania. This does not sit well with Vince McMahon. A lot of wrestling fans opted to watch the season finale of Better Call Saul and the NCAA Championship game between Duke and Wisconsin.

AJ Lee pregnant

After the shock of her retirement announcement wore down a bit, the internet wrestling community then began to speculate about the reason why AJ Lee was leaving her dream job in WWE so soon. One of the more discussed reasons was that the diminutive diva is pregnant. That appears to be unlikely, as the front office would never allow her to work at Wrestlemania and the following Monday Night Raw in that condition.

Brock Lesnar schedule

While the dollar amount has increased tremendously for Brock Lesnar, his schedule will remain largely the same as the previous contract. The plan right now is for WWE to only use him a couple of times per year for the next three years. The former world heavyweight champion will only be wrestling at pay per view events, while making appearances on Monday Night Raw here and there to promote his high profile matches.

Rusev push

Fans who put too much emphasis on winning and losing are under the belief that this is the end of the road for Rusev because he was buried by John Cena at Wrestlemania. As Jim Ross has repeatedly tried to explain, that's not how things work in professional wrestling. WWE is already building the Russian sympathizer back up. He was given a squash match against Goldust on Monday Night Raw, and a winning streak is expected to follow.

Brock Lesnar suspended

For those of you that are having trouble separating fact from fiction, the suspension thrown at Brock Lesnar for creating a carnage during Monday Night Raw is simply a part of the story line. WWE wanted to ease some of the resentment from members of the internet wrestling community that held a grudge against Lesnar for not being there full time. This is part of their long term plan to eventually turn him into a full blown baby face.

HHH wants Aguayo tribute

Rumors coming out of WWE has it that two out of the three top officials are against doing a tribute for Perro Aguayo on Monday Night Raw. The belief is that Kevin Dunn and Vince McMahon are the two who do not want to bring potentially negative attention towards the company, while Triple H wants to honor a fallen star. He feels that it would bring goodwill from both the internet wrestling community and those in the industry.

Sting appearance

WWE was hoping that word would spread through the internet wrestling community that Sting was showing up on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. They were hoping to receive a bit of a boost in viewership. Unfortunately for management, though, that boost ended up being quite minimal. There were only approximately 100,000 extra viewers this week. That comes as a disappointment because Wrestlemania is just around the corner.

Sting backstage in WWE

Everyone already knows about the argument that Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar recently had while discussing business backstage at Monday Night Raw. That has caused a bit of headache for management. Sting, on the other hand, is said to be a model employee. He understands the contract that he signed with WWE, and he is more than content to fulfill his end of the bargain before fading away permanently from professional wrestling.

Connor the Crusher

In a very touching display of compassion, WWE announced on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw that they would be inducting Connor Michalek into the hall of fame during Wrestlemania weekend. He was the terminally ill kid that was a huge fan of professional wrestling. To their credit, the company brought him in and allowed him to meet his favorite stars, including Daniel Bryan. Triple H even wrestled the kid and did the job for him in the ring.
