Rusev push

Fans who put too much emphasis on winning and losing are under the belief that this is the end of the road for Rusev because he was buried by John Cena at Wrestlemania. As Jim Ross has repeatedly tried to explain, that's not how things work in professional wrestling. WWE is already building the Russian sympathizer back up. He was given a squash match against Goldust on Monday Night Raw, and a winning streak is expected to follow.

Brock Lesnar suspended

For those of you that are having trouble separating fact from fiction, the suspension thrown at Brock Lesnar for creating a carnage during Monday Night Raw is simply a part of the story line. WWE wanted to ease some of the resentment from members of the internet wrestling community that held a grudge against Lesnar for not being there full time. This is part of their long term plan to eventually turn him into a full blown baby face.

HHH wants Aguayo tribute

Rumors coming out of WWE has it that two out of the three top officials are against doing a tribute for Perro Aguayo on Monday Night Raw. The belief is that Kevin Dunn and Vince McMahon are the two who do not want to bring potentially negative attention towards the company, while Triple H wants to honor a fallen star. He feels that it would bring goodwill from both the internet wrestling community and those in the industry.

Sting appearance

WWE was hoping that word would spread through the internet wrestling community that Sting was showing up on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. They were hoping to receive a bit of a boost in viewership. Unfortunately for management, though, that boost ended up being quite minimal. There were only approximately 100,000 extra viewers this week. That comes as a disappointment because Wrestlemania is just around the corner.

Sting backstage in WWE

Everyone already knows about the argument that Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar recently had while discussing business backstage at Monday Night Raw. That has caused a bit of headache for management. Sting, on the other hand, is said to be a model employee. He understands the contract that he signed with WWE, and he is more than content to fulfill his end of the bargain before fading away permanently from professional wrestling.

Connor the Crusher

In a very touching display of compassion, WWE announced on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw that they would be inducting Connor Michalek into the hall of fame during Wrestlemania weekend. He was the terminally ill kid that was a huge fan of professional wrestling. To their credit, the company brought him in and allowed him to meet his favorite stars, including Daniel Bryan. Triple H even wrestled the kid and did the job for him in the ring.

Dolph Ziggler porn offer

A rather interesting offer was made to Dolph Ziggler recently. A porn company asked him if they could produce some branded wrestling tights for him to wear on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. Brazzers wanted to be the official sponsor of the former world heavyweight champion. Of course, this is simply a marketing ploy by someone that is very adept at social media marketing because WWE would never allow such a thing to happen.

Jon Stewart draws

The move to bring in Jon Stewart for a guest appearance on Monday Night Raw proved to be a success all around. WWE received plenty of mainstream media attention from the appearance. Just about every major outlet in the country covered his involvement with Seth Rollins. From a fan's perspective, the move was also a success because Stewart handled himself extremely well. It was easy to see that he was a big fan of wrestling.

The Ascension push

When Konnor and Viktor were doing their thing in NXT, they were one of the hottest acts in the entire WWE. That was why there was a good amount of hype from the internet wrestling community for their arrival on the main roster. With the way that their first televised loss was handled on Monday Night Raw this week, it is now safe to say that The Ascension will not be receiving a huge push in the tag team division. They are lost in the shuffle now.

Goldust vs Stardust

Even though the actual heel turn only took place on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE has already announced that Cody Rhodes and Goldust will be wrestling one another at Fast Lane this upcoming Sunday. Usually, the creative department would have a couple of confrontations in between the turn and the actual match being announced. Even though the story has been brewing, management ended up rushing things in the end.
