Vince Russo on Sami Zayn

Never one to avoid controversy, Vince Russo has drawn the ire of the internet wrestling community yet again. The source of discontent stems from the fact that he took to social media to say that Sami Zayn, who made his debut on Monday Night Raw this week, was not a television star yet. He stated that while the hardcore fans might know of him, the masses just assumed that he was some jobber that was in the ring with John Cena.

Raw viewers drop

While his vision is being questioned by the internet wrestling community, one thing that Vince McMahon can definitely see clearly is the fact that fan interest in his product has sunk to the lowest point that it has been at since 2015 started. The latest episode of Monday Night Raw drew the least amount of viewers since the final episode of 2014. Hopefully, something like this will encourage WWE to try new things that might draw back their fans.

AJ Lee pregnant

After the shock of her retirement announcement wore down a bit, the internet wrestling community then began to speculate about the reason why AJ Lee was leaving her dream job in WWE so soon. One of the more discussed reasons was that the diminutive diva is pregnant. That appears to be unlikely, as the front office would never allow her to work at Wrestlemania and the following Monday Night Raw in that condition.

Brock Lesnar schedule

While the dollar amount has increased tremendously for Brock Lesnar, his schedule will remain largely the same as the previous contract. The plan right now is for WWE to only use him a couple of times per year for the next three years. The former world heavyweight champion will only be wrestling at pay per view events, while making appearances on Monday Night Raw here and there to promote his high profile matches.

Rusev push

Fans who put too much emphasis on winning and losing are under the belief that this is the end of the road for Rusev because he was buried by John Cena at Wrestlemania. As Jim Ross has repeatedly tried to explain, that's not how things work in professional wrestling. WWE is already building the Russian sympathizer back up. He was given a squash match against Goldust on Monday Night Raw, and a winning streak is expected to follow.

Brock Lesnar suspended

For those of you that are having trouble separating fact from fiction, the suspension thrown at Brock Lesnar for creating a carnage during Monday Night Raw is simply a part of the story line. WWE wanted to ease some of the resentment from members of the internet wrestling community that held a grudge against Lesnar for not being there full time. This is part of their long term plan to eventually turn him into a full blown baby face.

HHH wants Aguayo tribute

Rumors coming out of WWE has it that two out of the three top officials are against doing a tribute for Perro Aguayo on Monday Night Raw. The belief is that Kevin Dunn and Vince McMahon are the two who do not want to bring potentially negative attention towards the company, while Triple H wants to honor a fallen star. He feels that it would bring goodwill from both the internet wrestling community and those in the industry.
