Ask any UFC fan, and they will more than likely have nothing but kind things to say about the legendary Georges St Pierre. After all, he was one of the biggest draws in MMA for a reason. He is now expressing interest in professional wrestling. GSP revealed to fans at a convention that he is definitely interested in making an appearance in WWE, something similar to what Ronda Rousey did at Wrestlemania. Management should be calling soon.

Rampage Jackson bashes TNA

An MMA reported stated through social media that Rampage Jackson lost his desire to do professional wrestling because of the way that TNA handled his career. In response, a representative from the company pointed out the special treatment that the former UFC star was given. The front office paid for a private jet, and they also provided accommodations to his entourage. It is also being said that Jackson was afraid of taking bumps.

Cain Velasquez to WWE

When asked if he was open to a career in professional wrestling, Cain Velasquez said that it would be something that he might consider down the line. Right now, he is focused on his career in UFC. If Velasquez does choose to make the jump after retiring from MMA, the belief is that WWE would definitely be interested in someone with his level of name value. He has fought Brock Lesnar before, so that match would be a possibility.

Bobby Lashley vs Batista

For a small period of time there, promoters really wanted to put together an MMA match between Bobby Lashley and Batista because they felt that they would be able to draw in a bit of interest from professional wrestling fans. That possibility is said to be completely off the table now. While Lashley is still involved in the sport, his counterpart has moved on and is now focused primarily on his burgeoning career in Hollywood.

UFC stars at Wrestlemania

Fans of MMA have long ridiculed professional wrestling fans by repeatedly reminding them that they are watching a fake sport. Ironically enough, though, the UFC fighters themselves are fans of WWE. Several of them were spotted sitting in the audience at Levi Stadium during Wrestlemania. Some names mentioned were Chael Sonnen, Daniel Cormier, Jessamyn Duke, Nate Diaz, Gilbert Melendez, Shayna Baszler and Marina Shaffir.

Santino Marella reality show

Since his injury is taking longer to heal than initially expected, there is a chance that Santino Marella might never be able to make his in ring return to WWE. Fortunately, though, he planned ahead. Marella has a couple of outside business interest, including a reality television show that is being worked on. His wrestling and MMA school is slated to be the premise of the series. The Fight Network will be the ones to air the unnamed show.

Goldberg son in WWE

You can rule out at least one potential second generation wrestler joining WWE. Goldberg told TMZ during an interview that he would never allow his son to work for the company. He stated that he purchase a wrestling promotion and have his son work there than to ever allow him to work in a company ran by Vince McMahon and Triple H. Irregardless, though, it appears that the 8 year old boy is leaning more towards an MMA career.

Kurt Angle contract details

Kurt Angle revealed an interesting detail about his contract during a recent interview with the MMA Hour. He stated that he was only required to work 40 dates a year for TNA. Since the company tapes approximately 50 episodes of Impact Wrestling each year, that means that the former world heavyweight champion is not actually required to work house shows. Angle could opt to do some of them if he wishes, however.

Lesnar helping Punk

While they might have been portrayed enemies inside of a professional wrestling ring by WWE, the relationship between CM Punk and Brock Lesnar is much more cordial outside of it. During a recent interview, Punk revealed that Lesnar contacted him when he announced that he had signed a contract to fight for UFC. Lesnar offered to help Punk in anyway he can. The belief is that Lesnar will still be heading back to the world of MMA in a couple of months.

John Cena demotion

It's something that a lot of fans have long been begging for, but WWE is finally going to slowly start replacing John Cena as the top star in the company. He would step into the Bruno Sammartino role, while Roman Reigns will step into the Bob Backlund role. For those that do not know about that particular part of wrestling history, Backlund was pushed by the company as the hot new thing even though Sammartino was still the biggest draw.
