Billy Corgan works backstage for the company, and he decided to chime in on the situation. Through social media, he stated that the person behind the false reports is being worked by a sloppy angle. Corgan did not clarify what he meant by that, but he seemed adamant about denying the rumors.

It sparked a lot of curiosity with the masses, so that is a good thing for wrestling.
