One of the most disappointed people in regards to the early retirement of Daniel Bryan from WWE was Shinsuke Nakamura. The two of them are very close friends. Nakamura flat out told the media in Japan that he was leaving the country and moving to the United States so that he can have an opportunity to work against Bryan. That was one of the biggest reasons why he was willing to walk away from New Japan and sign with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Since New Japan had short notice about Shinsuke Nakamura leaving the country to become a star with WWE, they were not able to book a bigger venue for his final match with the promotion. After 13 years of being a star there, there was a high demand from fans that wanted to say goodbye to Nakamura. That meant that scalpers were charging a whole lot more than the face value. Shinsuke signed a two year deal with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Over the weekend, Tommy Dreamer worked live events for WWE in Charleston and Canton. After that, he should be done with the company for the time being. One of the big reasons why John Cena is branching out away from WWE is because he wants to draw in new fans to professional wrestling. He feels that he has already drawn in as much of an audience as possible through traditional methods. Cena now wants to draw in fans by doing movies and television shows. The former world heavyweight champion still has no plans of leaving permanently.

Earlier in the month, Molly Holly stated that she was willing to do an induction ceremony if WWE wanted to give her the honors. Well, it looks like management has very little interest in that. Last night, Batista had one of his biggest moments since leaving WWE for Hollywood. He was in England for the premiere of the new James Bond movie, where he plays a big villain. Alongside him was a familiar face to professional wrestling fans. Shane McMahon traveled from the United States to be there with his friend. That raises eyebrows since McMahon has avoided most things related to professional wrestling.

In case you missed Impact Wrestling this week, Ethan Carter fired Jeff Hardy because he refused to obey his command. That has led to speculation within the internet wrestling community that he could be leaving TNA. That is not the case at this moment. The segment was being done to generate interest, which it has, and to set up a big match between Hardy and Carter later on. Hardy is still under contract to Total Nonstop Action.

In another sign that she is set to move to the United States and sign with WWE, Kana has officially vacated the REINA championship that she won a year ago. Representatives from the promotion have confirmed that she is leaving their company soon. While much of the internet wrestling community is still emotional about the way that CM Punk walked out on WWE, Bret Hart has a different opinion. He completely agrees with how Punk did it. In fact, Hart seemed extremely proud of the former world heavyweight champion for doing that because he feels that Punk stood up for every performer backstage by willingly leaving in order to stand up for what he believes in.
