Wyatt Family

Erick Rowan not released

Since a new member of the Wyatt Family made his debut on Monday Night Raw, the internet wrestling community has been speculating about the status of Erick Rowan. Some are under the impression that he is going to be released by WWE. That is not the case. He is currently on the shelf because of a serious injury. When he heals up, there is a good chance that management has him rejoining the stable as the fourth member.

Ryback

Ryback vs Miz vs Big Show

Another of the lesser discussed Summerslam spoilers is the one involving the Intercontinental championship. Much of the internet wrestling community is not very interested in the match, even though the performers are putting on good efforts. Despite some concerns about him being injury prone, Ryback is expected to walk out of the pay per view as the titleholder.

John Cena

John Cena pulled

In a sign that his broken nose injury might be a lot more serious than the internet wrestling community believes, John Cena has not only been pulled from live events and telvision, the United States Heavyweight Champion has also been removed from the upcoming tour of Australia. That is a pretty serious move because WWE knows that Cena is quite the draw in that country.

Reby Sky

Matt Hardy taking time off

Later on this summer, TNA will have neither of the Hardys on Impact Wrestling. As many of you already now, Jeff Hardy is sidelined by an injury suffered during a dirt bike accident. His older brother Matt Hardy is going to be taking some time off as well. His reason, though, is because he wants to stay home and look after his pregnant wife. Reby Sky revealed the decision on social media and should be giving birth very soon.

Stephanie McMahon

Rousey vs Stephanie

When Ronda Rousey showed up at Summerslam, WWE knew that they wanted to put her in a match against Stephanie McMahon, as that would be one of the biggest draws for the company. However, Dana White is unlikely to allow a top level UFC draw to risk injury inside of a wrestling ring. That means that we will more than likely see Triple H and The Rock working a match where the two ladies would be in their respective corners.

Kevin Nash

Kevin Nash torn quad

For more than a decade now, the internet wrestling community has repeated the same tired joke about Kevin Nash tearing his quad whenever his name is mentioned. So, to mock those particular fans, the WWE hall of fame performer decided to trick them last night. After taking a spear outside the ring from Billy Gunn, Nash immediately grabbed his thighs, feigning an injury. The former world heavyweight champion revealed that he is just fine.

Santino Marella

Santino Marella reality show

Since his injury is taking longer to heal than initially expected, there is a chance that Santino Marella might never be able to make his in ring return to WWE. Fortunately, though, he planned ahead. Marella has a couple of outside business interest, including a reality television show that is being worked on. His wrestling and MMA school is slated to be the premise of the series. The Fight Network will be the ones to air the unnamed show.

Eddie Edwards

Wolves stripped

While Eddie Edwards was working vigorously to be able to return from an injury in time for the next taping of Impact Wrestling, TNA opted instead to strip he and Davey Richards of the world tag team championship. The reason for doing that is because the front office does not want to risk either one of them being hurt again. The company views the Wolves as two of their key players in the division, so they want to ensure they stick around.

Eddie Edwards

TNA belt vacant

While reports earlier this week stated that Eddie Edwards was well on the road to recovery and would be returning in time for television, it appears that TNA will be taking the safe approach. At the Impact Wrestling taping on Friday, Edwards and Davey Richards cut a promo and announced that the Wolves were vacating the belt. They cited the real life injury as the reason why. The vacant tag titles will be filled in some manner soon.

Eddie Edwards

Eddie Edwards injured

Some bad news for the Wolves. Eddie Edwards suffered some sort of injury during the latest round of Impact Wrestling taping, and reports are surfacing that it is a broken foot, which would require him to take some time away from TNA to recover. The duo was set for a major push with management putting the tag team championship on them a couple of weeks ago after having two legendary teams put them over before then.
