When asked recently about a possible induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, Jeff Jarrett stated that the decision belongs to one man and one man only. He is not going to bother to try predicting what Vince McMahon is going to do because that would be futile. McMahon has long resented Jarrett for a variety of reasons. Vince is also unlikely to induct Jeff as long as he is trying to launch his own wrestling promotion because he doesn't want to help.

Earlier in the month, Kurt Angle was in Columbus, Ohio to accept an induction into the International Sports Hall of Fame. During the same weekend, Triple H was also in town to film some segments for WWE at the Arnold Sports Festival. The two of them made time to have a little meeting. No word yet on what was discussed, but since Angle is no longer with TNA and is a free agent, the belief was that they discussed a possible return to World Wrestling Entertainment.

It appears that WWE might have silently changed their policy on inducting performers who are dead into their hall of fame. The latest announcement has the Big Boss Man being honored during Wrestlemania 32 weekend. The man legally known as Ray Traylor passed away in 2004. World Wrestling Entertainment is also honoring Buddy Roberts and Terry Gordy. Generally, the company tries to keep posthumous inductions to a minimum.

Earlier in the month, Molly Holly stated that she was willing to do an induction ceremony if WWE wanted to give her the honors. Well, it looks like management has very little interest in that. While she is still much beloved by the internet wrestling community, her name value has dropped tremendously since leaving World Wrestling Entertainment. An induction is highly unlikely.

When it comes to well known referees in professional wrestling, Earl Hebner will forever rank near the top of that list. That is why it makes all the sense in the world for TNA to induct him into their hall of fame. That is exactly what is going to take place in October during the weekend of Bound For Glory. The induction ceremony is taking place in Virginia. Billy Corgan will induct Hebner.

The wrestling world mourns together today, as it is now the fourth anniversary of the day that Randy Savage passed away in an auto accident. His death not only rocked the wrestling world, but it also rocked the mainstream world, as many are aware of him even though they are not regular watchers of the industry. WWE finally honored the Macho Man this year with a hall of fame induction, something that should have happened years ago.

As many of you are already aware by now, Rikishi purposely did not mention Brian Christopher or Scotty 2 Hotty during his hall of fame induction speech because he has some backstage heat with them over an incident that took place at an independent wrestling show. Well, it turns out that the hatred is even stronger than we initially thought. Reports have surfaced that the big Samoan specifically requested to WWE that they be banned.

There was a lot of interesting things said and done during the hall of fame induction speech by Rikishi. One of the more interesting ones was the fact that he refused to mention Scotty 2 Hotty and Brian Christopher, two guys that were integral parts of his rise in WWE. Reports have now surfaced that the three of them had a falling out during an event on the independent wrestling circuit. Too Cool both mentioned something on social media in response.

After weeks of rumors, it now appears that WWE has decided to go ahead with the induction of Kevin Nash into their hall of fame. The ceremony will take place during Wrestlemania weekend. While there are a good amount of candidates to give the induction speech, it appears that management has opted to go with Shawn Michaels, as they want to promote the fact that the later was very instrumental in helping the former become a star in wrestling.

There are talks that WWE officials are looking to add an international flavor to their hall of fame induction ceremony this year. Genichiro Tenryu, one of the biggest legends in the history of wrestling in Japan, has become a rumored candidate. His international credentials alone makes him a worthy candidate, and he has accomplished a lot more than some of the performers who are already in. Tenryu has worked Wrestlemania and Royal Rumble.
