Perro Aguayo memorial

A memorial was held in honor of Perro Aguayo this week. He passed away after an accident in the ring during a match. Konnan, who was the first person to check on Aguayo after the incident, was there in person. Rey Mysterio, however, was not. The belief is that he felt that his presence would be a distraction and might actually upset a couple of people who blame him for the death. Mysterio is currently heading overseas for wrestling show.

There are reports floating around that the promoter of the show decided to pull Steiner after the controversial incident that he had at the airport with the wife of Hulk Hogan. If other promoters follow suit, then that could have quite the adverse affect on his ability to make a living.

Perro Aguayo cause of death

ABC News has now reported the cause of death for Perro Aguayo, a huge wrestling star in Mexico. It has now been revealed that he suffered three fractured vertebrae during the match. There are still conflicting reports, however, on when he actually died. Some are saying that he passed away while still in the arena, while others are saying that he still had vital signs at the hospital. An investigation into the incident is still ongoing.

In another sign that people are allowing their high emotions to overrule their logic, Rey Mysterio has reportedly been receiving death threats since the incident that cost the wrestling world the life of Perro Aguayo. It is strange for that to happen because most people know that it was an accident. It is also hard to believe because Mysterio is one o the most beloved performers in the history of wrestling in Mexico.

Kevin Nash charges dropped

Right before Christmas, wrestling fans got word that Kevin Nash had been arrested and charged with battery after an incident involving his son. It looks like the former world heavyweight champion will not be going to court after all. All charges against Nash, stemming from the incident, have been dropped. He is now exonerated and free about to go as pleased. WWE could lift the suspension now, but Nash stated that he has severed ties with the company.
