While doing a podcast interview with Jim Ross this week, Jim Duggan touched on the topic of the internet wrestling community turning on Roman Reigns. Duggan stated that WWE was definitely forcing the audience to embrace a performer that is not yet popular enough for the role. Hacksaw feels that World Wrestling Entertainment should take their time so that the audience can slowly warm up to Reigns. Duggan feels that Reigns has potential, though.

Snoop Dogg joining Sasha Banks

Though WWE has been quiet thus far about celebrities making an appearance at Wrestlemania, there's going to be plenty of familiar faces at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas during the pay per view. Rumors are floating around that World Wrestling Entertainment might bring in Snoop Dogg. He would be aligned with Sasha Banks in her match against Charlotte and Becky Lynch. Snoop and Sasha are first cousins. Plus, Snoop is a big fan.

When asked recently for his opinions on how WWE utilizes Roman Reigns, Jim Ross stated that he felt that management has miscast another performer. The legendary commentator stated that he does not know how World Wrestling Entertainment feels about Reigns being booed by fans because he is no longer with the company. Ross feels that the fans would not have turned on Reigns if he wasn't being pushed too hard. Fans resented him for that.

Steve Austin defends Roman Reigns

While doing a podcast interview recently, Steve Austin noted that he recently had time to sit down with Roman Reigns and gave him some advice. Austin was aware that the internet wrestling community was upset with Reigns because they felt that WWE just handed him a big push on a silver platter. Austin mentioned that when World Wrestling Entertainment offered him a push, he accepted it because that's what you're supposed to do.

Shane McMahon not staying forever

While many wrestling fans are thrilled that Shane McMahon has finally made his much anticipated return to WWE, that feeling of joy might soon be gone because reports have surfaced that he doesn't plan to stick around after his match at Wrestlemania with the Undertaker. This is designed to be a short term deal, and McMahon still wants to continue to make his mark on the business world. Another potential return hasn't been ruled out yet.

Shinsuke Nakamura disappointed

One of the most disappointed people in regards to the early retirement of Daniel Bryan from WWE was Shinsuke Nakamura. The two of them are very close friends. Nakamura flat out told the media in Japan that he was leaving the country and moving to the United States so that he can have an opportunity to work against Bryan. That was one of the biggest reasons why he was willing to walk away from New Japan and sign with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Kurt Angle not retiring

While he is no longer wrestling for TNA, Kurt Angle is not done in the ring. The former world heavyweight champion has signed on to wrestle Rey Mysterio at a show in Phoenix, Arizona on March 20. Interestingly enough, former WWE stars Ken Shamrock and Dan Severn are booked to do an MMA fight that night as well. In addition to those two genres, there will also be a boxing match featuring Roy Jones Jr fighting a fan.

If you're one of those that fans that are hoping that Kazuchika Okada follows Shinsuke Nakamura to WWE, then you're out of luck. The reigning IWGP World Heavyweight Champion stated to a wrestling magazine in Japan that he will never sign with World Wrestling Entertainment. The move could be a public relations thing, however, as NJPW recently lost four of their biggest stars. The statement might have been made to appease concerned fans.

When it comes to making appearances on the independent wrestling circuit, Sting isn't usually one of the faces that you're going to see at these events. Well, the upcoming WWE Hall of Fame inductee has decided to sign on for three shows with Big Time Wrestling. One of the events will also feature former WCW star Lex Luger, which means that the reunion could make the event much more successful than normal.

Nakamura final show tickets

Since New Japan had short notice about Shinsuke Nakamura leaving the country to become a star with WWE, they were not able to book a bigger venue for his final match with the promotion. After 13 years of being a star there, there was a high demand from fans that wanted to say goodbye to Nakamura. That meant that scalpers were charging a whole lot more than the face value. Shinsuke signed a two year deal with World Wrestling Entertainment.
