Reports have surfaced that TNA officials are in talks with four different cable television networks at the moment to see if one of them would be a suitable home for Impact Wrestling next year. While it has not been confirmed yet, WGN is said to be one of the networks. They expressed interest prior to the decision being made to sign with Destination America. Jeff Hardy will be used as a selling point to the network executives.

Matt Hardy stripped of title

While the internet wrestling community has been mocking TNA for putting the world heavyweight championship on Matt Hardy, there are rumors floating around that the reign might not last all that long. There are those that believe that the move was simply done to put more heat on Ethan Carter. The story would play out where Carter finds a way to take the belt back through some sort of scripted legal methods.

Gunner to WWE

Despite being embroiled in a bit of a controversy with a fan at an independent wrestling show, there appears to be some interest from WWE towards Gunner. The former TNA star stated that it was his dream to work in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world and that there are some talks going on between the two sides. However, he stopped at confirming that they were anywhere close to signing a developmental contract.

Undertaker replaces Hogan

When WWE signed a deal with PEZ Candy to produce dispensers decorated with the likeness of professional wrestlers, they promised their business partner that they would include three of the biggest names in professional wrestling. John Cena, The Rock and Hulk Hogan were the chosen ones. Due to the recent controversy, however, Hogan has been replaced by management. Undertaker has been given the third slot.

Roman Reigns mocks wrestlers

Members of the internet wrestling community already don't like Roman Reigns, and now, some backstage in WWE might not like him either. During a recent interview, he mocked performers who named their moves. Sheamus was specifically mentioned as someone that has lots of unique names in his move set. Reigns stated that he refused to be a nerd and sticks with the tradition move names.

Kane at Night of Champions

Earlier in the month, the internet wrestling community was surprised when Kane was revealed as a potential candidate to be the mystery partner for Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns at Night of Champions. Some more fuel was added to the fire today, as it has now been confirmed that the former world heavyweight champion is indeed backstage at the pay per view. His return is expected to take place soon.

Kenny King leaves TNA

In a move that doesn't come as a shock to many, Kenny King has apparently left TNA. No details have been revealed, but he showed up at the ROH pay per view this week. His previous contract allowed him to work Impact Wrestling episodes and on independent wrestling shows that are not being televised. Showing up in Ring of Honor is a sign that he is no longer working for Total Nonstop Action.

Impact Wrestling extension

While nothing has been officially confirmed, there is speculation circulating that TNA has signed a contract extension with Destination America. It is said to be a short term deal, so that the two sides can continue negotiations without having to take Impact Wrestling off the air. The belief is that the network wants a more favorable deal with Dixie Carter because advertisers simply are not biting.

Gail Kim wins title

In case you missed Impact Wrestling this week, Gail Kim is once again the Knockouts Champion. She defeated Brooke Tessmacher, Awesome Kong and LeiD Tapa to capture the belt. The belief is that TNA is rewarding her for her years of loyalty and hard work. Since she is closer to the end of her career than the beginning, the natural assumption is that this might be her final reign ever as champion. Gail is now on her fifth run.

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns hates ladders

During a recent interview, Roman Reigns revealed that he hates working with ladders in wrestling matches. He said that he is fine with hitting people with objects and being hit with them himself. However, ladders are often unpredictable, and serious injuries have taken place in the ring due to that object. Interestingly enough, Reigns has worked in a Money in the Bank match before and will probably do so again in the future.
