A new class of developmental wrestlers started working for NXT this week. Among them is Uhaa Nation, the highly touted 27 year old from the independent wrestling circuit. He is expected to be the star of the class. Nation was signed late last year, but he had some things to work out before starting with the company. In a rather interesting note, the majority of the class is international guys that have very limited wrestling experience.

Another name that has popped up as a potential trainer for WWE is Vader. Management feels that he would be a good candidate since he has experienced different styles of wrestling all over the world. The man known as Leon White can also be the tough guy that the developmental wrestlers in NXT need. Things are serious enough to where there was a good amount of chatter during Wrestlemania week about him moving to Florida soon.

The status of Brittany has been a mystery for much of the year. Some believed that was signing a contract with WWE to become a developmental diva in NXT, while others were saying that she had agreed to make a return to TNA. Neither of those scenarios has happened. The woman legally known as Santana Garrett is definitely not too injured to be used, as she still frequently performs on the independent wrestling circuit.

Being an independent wrestling promotion is going to get a lot harder come May. That is when WWE is tentatively planning on having the stars of NXT begin touring the country. Unlike the main roster, the developmental wrestlers would be performer is smaller venues in towns that might not normally get the big name stars coming through. Guys like Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami, Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville are hard to compete against.

Earlier today, Bill DeMott announced that he was resigning from WWE because of all the abuse allegations that were thrown at him. Shortly after the shock wore out, the internet wrestling community began wondering who would fill his shoes. It has now been revealed that Matt Bloom will be taking over on an interim basis. Management wants to see if he has what it takes to be the head trainer for the developmental program.

The controversy surrounding Bill DeMott has sparked a bunch of speculations in WWE. Some are now looking through the list of performers who have gone through the developmental program and are making assumptions about their situations. One of the ones going around the internet wrestling community involves Corey Graves. There are those that believe that management gave him a job as a commentator to keep him from speaking out.

Knowing that he has a respected voice with the internet wrestling community, Chris Jericho decided to stand up for Bill DeMott, who has been facing allegations of abuse this week. Jericho stated that DeMott was a good friend and a great trainer. He also suggested that if developmental wrestlers cannot handle the heat, then they should quit. Jericho noted that his training with Stu Hart was much worse than what the NXT performers go through.

The internet wrestling community has exploded now that a letter about Bill DeMott has been leaked online. It was originally composed by former developmental wrestler Judas Devlin, and it was a list of complaints in regards to DeMott that was sent directly to WWE headquarters. Devlin points out several instances of abuse of power, both phsyically an verbally, by DeMott. The list includes DeMott grabbing the injured neck of Rusev.

No official word yet from WWE on the status of Brian Kendrick becoming a trainer for their developmental program, but the former tag team champion did improve his chances with his recent surprise match on NXT against Finn Balor. Management was said to be thoroughly impressed with his still solid in ring performance and the reaction that he received, both from the live audience and from the internet wrestling community.

There are a lot of speculations in the air now that Jeff Jarrett has met with the owners of OVW. The belief is that a deal will be signed and the promotion will become one of the many that will work under the GFW banner. They would join the likes of New Japan, AAA and others in their collective venture. There are talks that Jarrett might use Ohio Valley Wrestling as a developmental territory like WWE once did a few years back.
