While doing a podcast interview show with Chris Jericho, Luke Harper revealed something very interesting about his personal life. Prior to being signed to a developmental contract with WWE, he was working on the independent wrestling scene. Since he needed to supplement his money, Harper also worked as a librarian for the city. He stated that he was in charge of keeping up with the text books.

Then, she contradicted herself by showing up at the performance center for further training. Now, the WWE diva has taken her fabrication to another level. She worked a match in NXT against Asuka. Regardless of what she says, the belief is that she will be working in the developmental program for the time being.

Since he worked some NXT live events, the belief was that Tommaso Ciampa would more than likely receive a developmental contract from WWE. It looks like that might be coming true. While working a overseas show in Europe, Ciampa was reportedly telling people that the deal was close to done and he should be working full time with the World Wrestling Entertainment before the year ends.

The belief was that management opted to no longer utilize her services because her favorable deal, which enabled her the freedom to make money on the independent wrestling circuit, was alienating the developmental wrestlers. The cult favorite took to social media to instruct her fans to not believe everything they hear, which hints that she might not be done with the company.

The internet wrestling community was buzzing over rumors that James Storm had attended an NXT event earlier in the month. Well, some further fuel has been added to that particular fire. The former world heavyweight champion is said to be in Orlando today and may have been spotted at the same venue as the Takeover event. Photos have surfaced online of what appears to be Storm entering the facility with developmental trainer, Billy Gunn.

Despite being embroiled in a bit of a controversy with a fan at an independent wrestling show, there appears to be some interest from WWE towards Gunner. The former TNA star stated that it was his dream to work in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world and that there are some talks going on between the two sides. However, he stopped at confirming that they were anywhere close to signing a developmental contract.

The world heavyweight champion also revealed that Mercury was also instrumental in getting a deal done for Dean Ambrose. It seems like Kana is very much set on signing a contract with WWE, even though she stated not too long ago that she wanted to retire from professional wrestling. She is scheduled to show up in the USA next month to do the routine medical testing required before a contract is signed. The star from Japan will then need some time in developmental to get used to the new style, which means she won't appear on the main roster for a while.

When it comes to wrestling legends, Lou Thesz is near the top of the list. When a legend like Dusty Rhodes compares you to him, then you are really something special. During a recent interview, Finn Balor revealed that Rhodes believed that WWE was bringing in someone of the caliber of Thesz into his developmental program. It was quite the compliment to Balor.

For a while there, Mike Bennett was hotly rumored to be joining WWE through their developmental program. Things have been quiet on that front recently. The belief is that the silence is due to Bennett himself. He knows that his reputation in the industry is rocketing skywards, so he might wait until he has as much leverage as possible before going into negotiations with World Wrestling Entertainment again.
