When asked recently about the time that he created quite the controversy on social media by saying that wrestling was fake, Dana White was quick to give credit to Steve Austin for saving him from fans who bashed him for three straight weeks. The bashing subsided tremendously after Austin posted a message explaining what White really meant when he said those comments.

When asked if he would make a return to Lucha Underground, Shawn Hernandez flat out stated that the ship has sailed on that. He has backstage heat with the promotion because of how they handled his contract situation with TNA. Hernandez really wanted to be with a bigger promotion, but he lost that chance when the controversy arose. The belief is that Hernandez will continue to work the independent wrestling circuit.

WWE suspending Hulk Hogan

Even though he is no longer with WWE, Hulk Hogan is still relevant enough to the mainstream media for them to interview the former world heavyweight champion. He recently stated that he wished that the company would have simply suspended him for the racial controversy as opposed to firing him. Doing that made Hogan look a lot more guilty than he feel that he is. The belief is that he will be back with World Wrestling Entertainment some day.

Despite being embroiled in a bit of a controversy with a fan at an independent wrestling show, there appears to be some interest from WWE towards Gunner. The former TNA star stated that it was his dream to work in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world and that there are some talks going on between the two sides. However, he stopped at confirming that they were anywhere close to signing a developmental contract.

When WWE signed a deal with PEZ Candy to produce dispensers decorated with the likeness of professional wrestlers, they promised their business partner that they would include three of the biggest names in professional wrestling. John Cena, The Rock and Hulk Hogan were the chosen ones. Due to the recent controversy, however, Hogan has been replaced by management. Undertaker has been given the third slot.

They have sacrificed their bodies to entertain the fans for years.
