AJ Lee autobiography

Through Penguin Random House, AJ Lee has signed a contract to write and release her autobiography. The former WWE Divas Champion will be spending much of 2016 writing down her memoirs. AJ spends much of her time supporting CM Punk in Wisconsin as he trains for his UFC debut. She also makes various appearances at comic and wrestling convention. The book is scheduled to be released in early 2017.

Brad Maddox

WWE releases Brad Maddox

Since he was a natural talker, as evident by the fact that he was once utilized as the on screen general manager of Monday Night Raw, WWE kept Brad Maddox around for as long as they could to see if they could find something that will work for him. Apparently, that quest has been canceled. Maddox has been given his release from his contract. He is now free to work on the independent wrestling circuit.

Luke Harper a librarian

While doing a podcast interview show with Chris Jericho, Luke Harper revealed something very interesting about his personal life. Prior to being signed to a developmental contract with WWE, he was working on the independent wrestling scene. Since he needed to supplement his money, Harper also worked as a librarian for the city. He stated that he was in charge of keeping up with the text books.

Dolph Ziggler leaving wrestling

If we do not see that big Dolph Ziggler push in the near future, then it might never happen, as the former world heavyweight champion has revealed that he only plans to be in professional wrestling for another two years. That sounds about right since Ziggler signed his three year contract extension not too long ago. The belief is that he will venture out into other areas of the entertainment industry.

Undertaker not a draw

Through FOX Sports, Jim Ross revealed a rather interesting story about Ole Anderson. Back when Undertaker was wrestling in WCW, his contract was coming to an end. Ross felt that the deal should have been renewed and tried to convince Anderson to make it happen. However, Anderson told Ross that he felt that Undertaker would never be a draw and doubted his future in the business.

TNA concerned about TV

Now that ROH is officially being dropped by Destination America, there are some rising concerns in TNA in regards to their television situation. Many believe that the network is ending their experiment with professional wrestling. They feel that Impact Wrestling will be canceled soon. Dixie Carter, however, is said to be working fervently to secure a new television contract with another network.

WWE signing James Storm

When James Storm made an appearance on NXT, the belief was that he had signed a contract with WWE, as management seems very unlikely to let him work without a deal. However, reports have now surfaced that there is no deal between the two sides at the moment. Storm is still negotiating with World Wrestling Entertainment. However, there is still the possibility that Storm ends up going elsewhere.

There are rumors floating around right now that AJ Styles and WWE have mutual interest in a contract. However, reports have now surfaced that the two sides have yet to make contact with one another. Styles currently has a contract with New Japan, but it expires in January. Rumors are going to keep floating until that point in time, as the internet wrestling community desperately wants the deal to finally happen.

When asked if he would make a return to Lucha Underground, Shawn Hernandez flat out stated that the ship has sailed on that. He has backstage heat with the promotion because of how they handled his contract situation with TNA. Hernandez really wanted to be with a bigger promotion, but he lost that chance when the controversy arose. The belief is that Hernandez will continue to work the independent wrestling circuit.

Nick Dinsmore launches promotion

Earlier in the month, it was revealed that Nick Dinsmore had been in negotiations with WWE for some sort of contract. If he signs the deal, then he is going to be an extremely busy man. Dinsmore recently launched his own wrestling promotion. It is based in South Dakota, which is not really known as a hot bed for professional wrestling. Proceeds from his shows will be donated to local veterans.
