During Impact Wrestling, TNA ran a controversial segment featuring Mickie James and James Storm. I the goal was to get everyone talking about their promotion, then it worked out beautifully because there are a lot of anger being directed towards them. Management was forced to issue a statement because the internet wrestling community was under the assumption that the character had been killed off. Mickie is in fact still alive and recovering.

Since he has worked in the industry and remains a big fan, Jim Ross likes to discuss things that are currently taking place on television. He is not a big fan of the train segment that TNA did on Impact Wrestling this week. Ross stated that he is a big fan of both Mickie James and James Storm, but he feels that the creative department is giving them really bad material to work with. He also mentioned that he likes where Storm is taking his character.

There are sectors of the internet wrestling community that really cannot handle change. Kane is fully aware of this because he still gets a good amount of fans that tell him that he has ruined his legacy by switching over to the corporate puppet character. Glen Jacobs defends himself by stating that when you are in WWE for as long as he has been, you need to prove that you can add wrinkles to your character to keep it interesting.

A video on Instagram of Curt Hawkins wrestling a real life Starman, a popular character from the Pro Wresting video game that was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System back during the 1980s. Since he has long been known as one of the mot controversial characters in all of professional wrestling, the belief was that Scott Steiner would not be joining another major promotion again. However, it appears that his close relationship with Jeff Jarrett has proven that to be wrong. GFW has signed Steiner and added him to their roster. While there is a slight chance he may wrestle, the belief is that he will simply be doing appearances for them.

As some of you may have seen on Impact Wrestling, Taryn Terrell did a heel turn and introduced a new stable called the Dollhouse (with Mia Yim and Marti Belle). The trio attacked Awesome Kong to help Taryn retain the belt. That has led many to wonder what Kong would do next. There are rumors floating around that TNA is considering a face turn for her. She would debut a kinder and gentler version of her character.

Back when he was wrestling in the original ECW, the Blue Meanie was able to capture attention because he was grossly overweight. That was a big part of what made the audience connect with his character. Then, he shocked the world when he dropped a lot of weight and became slim for the first time in years. The former bWo member has since regained some of the weight, but he is not anywhere near the level that he used to weigh.

It appears that TNA had a well written plan all along for Rockstar Spud. They purposely made him an annoying character when he first made his debut in the company. The goal was to make fans have strong feelings towards him, even if some of it was negative. In professional wrestling, no heat is the worst heat. The creative department was then deftly able to slowly convert his character into a lovable underdog that could be a serious threat in the ring.

In case you do not follow the international wrestling scene, one of the hottest acts in the world right now is the Bullet Club, a heel stable that has taken over New Japan. Aside from a couple of quick appearances, the group has not been seen much in the United States. That might be changing soon. During a recent interview, Jeff Jarrett hinted that the group, which his character is a member of, could be headed to GFW in the near future.
