Wrestlemania 32 ladder match

In case you missed Monday Night Raw, Stephanie McMahon announced a seven man ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Kevin Owens will be defending against Sin Cara, Zack Ryder, Stardust, Dolph Ziggler, Miz and Sami Zayn. Originally, many were under the impression that World Wrestling Entertainment was going to be doing a fatal four way, but the decision to get more performers on the card was made.

Overeem vs Lesnar rematch

While the comment may mean actually nothing, Alistar Overeem stated that he would be willing to give Brock Lesnar a rematch. However, it will not be in UFC. Overeem, who was the last person that Lesnar ever faced in his Ultimate Fighting Championship career, stated that he would only do a match once he is retired and only in WWE. Overeem is said to be interested in professional wrestling because he knows what Lesnar is being paid.

Booker T on Sid Vicious

While doing a podcast interview with Chris Jericho, Booker T revealed that Sid Vicious was the one that brought he and his brother, Stevie Ray, to WCW. Vicious told them that he wanted to transition to the front office so he recruited them to show management that he had an eye for talent. Sid even allowed Harlem Heat to stay at his apartment for the first three months that they were with World Championship Wrestling.

Bobby Roode drops KOTM belt

In case you missed Impact Wrestling this week, Bobby Roode dropped the King of the Mountain Championship to Eric Young. The reason for the title change is because TNA wanted to do a Beer Money reunion to spark some interest from their fans. Roode and James Storm are expected to challenge for the tag team championship. They are also expected to be the centerpiece of the tag team division for the time being.

While there have been rumors about him receiving a push from WWE, Kalisto might shockingly be wrestling for a singles title at the Royal Rumble later on this month. Management is considering having the masked performer challenge Alberto Del Rio for the United States Heavyweight Championship at the pay per view. This would be the highest profile match for Kalisto since being called up to the main roster.

A rather interesting development is taking place in WWE, and it might leave Devon out in the cold. Management is reportedly looking into the idea of splitting up the Dudley Boyz once again because they want to see if the Bully Ray character, which held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, would do well in World Wrestling Entertainment. The split could happen very soon, maybe even the Royal Rumble.

Over the past several days, TNA has been teasing a newcomer with the term, "Miracle". On the POP TV debut episode of Impact Wrestling this week, rumors about Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis joining the promotion have been confirmed, as the two former ROH star finally made their debut. Bennett informed Total Nonstop Action fans that he was there to pursue the world heavyweight championship.

Beer Money reuniting

There is a very good chance that Beer Money will be reunited on a permanent basis now that James Storm has returned to TNA. During the first episode of Impact Wrestling that aired on POP TV, the former world heavyweight champion came back and celebrated with Bobby Roode. Later on in the night, Roode dropped the King of the Mountain Championship to Eric Young, adding further fuel to the speculation.

Shinsuke Nakamura leaving New Japan

When reports surfaced that Shinsuke Nakamura gave his notice to New Japan, the belief was that he was going to be sticking around and closing things up for the promotion. Nakamura was supposed to drop the IWGP Intercontinental Championship to another person. Word coming out of the company now is that Shinsuke is more than likely going to be heading to World Wrestling Entertainment before the month of January comes to an end.
