Gail Kim wins title

In case you missed Impact Wrestling this week, Gail Kim is once again the Knockouts Champion. She defeated Brooke Tessmacher, Awesome Kong and LeiD Tapa to capture the belt. The belief is that TNA is rewarding her for her years of loyalty and hard work. Since she is closer to the end of her career than the beginning, the natural assumption is that this might be her final reign ever as champion. Gail is now on her fifth run.

When it comes to families that are not afraid to be a bit controversial, the Hart Family ranks near the top in professional wrestling. Bruce Hart recently generated quite the buzz with the internet wrestling community when he stated that Tyson Kidd will more than likely end his career because of the neck injury that he is currently suffering from and recovering from. No confirmation has been made by anyone else, however.

At the age of 43, R Truth is smart enough to know that he is closer to the end of his career as a professional wrestler than to the beginning. He has been planning for life after WWE. Truth certainly does not want to rely on the independent wrestling circuit, so he has been looking into other options in entertainment. In addition to trying to launch a hip hop career, he has also been looking into acting opportunities in Hollywood lately.

Here is an interesting tidbit on Brutus Beefcake. Back when he and Hulk Hogan started their professional wrestling careers together during the late 1970s, they were billed as brothers. Since they really wanted people to believe that, they made it a point to stay in character outside of the arena. It caused enough confusion that many people, including those in the industry, really believed that they were blood brothers.

The former diva revealed through social media that she met with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, which was founded by noted wrestling fan Seth Green, who happens to be working on a cartoon for WWE at the moment. AJ could be trying to venture into Hollywood soon.

According to Jim Cornette, the reason why Kevin Owens is now finding major success in WWE is because he has changed his personality. The legendary manager stated that the former NXT champion was a bit difficult to deal with backstage throughout the majority of his career. Cornette stated that Owens refused to listen to management when he was on the independent wrestling circuit.

Rollins stated that he has accomplished a lot more during his three year career with World Wrestling Entertainment than Morrison did during his entire stint with the promotion.

After escaping from the independent wrestling circuit and joining WWE, he is quite known, so much that Rolling Stones magazine has listed him as the wrestler of the year thus far. Management has to be quite pleased with this situation.
