Here is an interesting tidbit on Brutus Beefcake. Back when he and Hulk Hogan started their professional wrestling careers together during the late 1970s, they were billed as brothers. Since they really wanted people to believe that, they made it a point to stay in character outside of the arena. It caused enough confusion that many people, including those in the industry, really believed that they were blood brothers.

The legendary manager stated that the former NXT champion was a bit difficult to deal with backstage throughout the majority of his career. Cornette stated that Owens refused to listen to management when he was on the independent wrestling circuit.
