AJ Lee autobiography

Through Penguin Random House, AJ Lee has signed a contract to write and release her autobiography. The former WWE Divas Champion will be spending much of 2016 writing down her memoirs. AJ spends much of her time supporting CM Punk in Wisconsin as he trains for his UFC debut. She also makes various appearances at comic and wrestling convention. The book is scheduled to be released in early 2017.

Luke Harper a librarian

While doing a podcast interview show with Chris Jericho, Luke Harper revealed something very interesting about his personal life. Prior to being signed to a developmental contract with WWE, he was working on the independent wrestling scene. Since he needed to supplement his money, Harper also worked as a librarian for the city. He stated that he was in charge of keeping up with the text books.

Del Rio replacing Orton

Since he is injured, Randy Orton has been removed from the upcoming WWE tour of Europe. Management had already advertised Orton as being part of the show, so they felt the need to make it up to fans who had already purchased tickets. To do that, the front office booked Alberto Del Rio as a replacement. Del Rio recently returned to World Wrestling Entertainment and is viewed as an international star.

The former WWE diva is getting even cooler as we speak. It has now been revealed that AJ is doing sword training for an upcoming movie role. The thought of seeing her fight someone with a sword should be enough to convince some fans to watch the film.

During a conference call with the media, Triple H was asked about when WWE would crown their first black world champion. Showing how adept he is with public relations, he quickly dismissed the question by noting that The Rock and Booker T have already accomplished that. He wondered out loud why people do not remember two of the more recognizable names in the history of professional wrestling.

Sting suffers injury

When you enter a wrestling ring, there's a chance of injury. That possibility goes up even higher when you are 56 years old and have spent 30 years doing it. At Night of Champions, Sting suffered some sort of injury. No official announcement has been made, but the belief is that it is either a neck or spinal injury. The legend is still booked for another appearance on Monday Night Raw, but those plans might be changed.

To promote his new book, Bob Backlund shared a story about when he started off in the professional wrestling business. He stated that he left home with just his car, clothes and $20. Backlund traveled from Minnesota to Louisiana to wrestle a match. Instead of being paid what he was promised, the former world champion was paid just $5, so he canceled his hotel, bought some tuna and slept in the trunk of his car.

Booker T promotion growing

In a sign that he will not need WWE for the rest of his life, Booker T is making huge strides with his independent wrestling promotion. The former world heavyweight champion recently secured a deal to move his company into a 21,000 square feet facility, which is being called the Reality of Wrestling World Headquarters. Booker will be using the place to film his shows and train his performers.

Kelly Kelly open to WWE return

While many are under the assumption that Kelly Kelly has closed the book on professional wrestling, she revealed otherwise during a podcast interview this week. Kelly stated that if WWE were to come calling, she would definitely be interested in making a return and doing one final run. She says that she is still young enough to do so and her body is still doing fine.
