Bret Hart on CM Punk

While much of the internet wrestling community is still emotional about the way that CM Punk walked out on WWE, Bret Hart has a different opinion. He completely agrees with how Punk did it. In fact, Hart seemed extremely proud of the former world heavyweight champion for doing that because he feels that Punk stood up for every performer backstage by willingly leaving in order to stand up for what he believes in.

Stephen Amell does well

Whenever celebrities are brought into WWE to work a match, there's a lot of skepticism from the internet wrestling community. Many felt the same way when Stephen Amell was brought in for Summerslam. The longtime wrestling fan, though, proved everyone wrong. He did much better than expected. The Arrow star received praised from both the people backstage and the mainstream media.

Chris Hero to TNA

Back in May, Chris Hero was backstage at Impact Wrestling and reports stated that he talked a bit with management about a possible contract. Well, it looks like that deal is not going to be happening anytime soon because TNA is showing very little interest in the move. Hero might have a shot with GFW if he can convince Jeff Jarrett that he is still an asset in this industry after a disastrous run in WWE.

WWE signing Undertaker

Since he worked backstage in WWE for years, Bruce Prichard has a million stories that wrestling fans would love to hear. He shared one recently. Prichard stated that Vince McMahon did not initially want to sign the Undertaker when he was a free agent. McMahon felt that he looked more like a basketball player than a wrestler. Plus, the Phenom was coming off of a really bad match in WCW against Lex Luger.

Dean Ambrose attitude backstage

Earlier in the year, Tom Prichard revealed in a non malicious manner that Seth Rollins was getting a bigger push in WWE because he was better at being a backstage politician than Dean Ambrose. Word going around is that Ambrose is simply not political at all. He enjoys wrestling, and he probably hopes that his hard work and connection with the audience will bring the big push by itself.

Kevin Owens in trouble

After taking a second loss to John Cena, the internet wrestling community was in an uproar because they viewed that as a burial of Kevin Owens. Some are now questioning if he has backstage heat on him. While he does have some people rooting against him back there, Owens is not in trouble with WWE. Being given a victory over Cena is something that management does not routinely hand out.

Chael Sonnen meets Michael Cole

On Tuesday, WWE taped an episode of Smackdown in Portland. Among the more notable faces backstage was none other than Chael Sonnen. The former UFC star was there to meet up with Michael Cole for some reason. Many are under the impression that he could be negotiating a deal to join World Wrestling Entertainment as an on screen character.

It appears that Sean Waltman has some backstage heat with an unnamed wrestling promoter. He stated that he was fine with people booking Chyna for their live events, but he does not like them pretending to be his friend. Waltman stated that money is more important that false rape accusations to certain people in the industry. He refuses to name names when asked about the situation.

Stephanie McMahon at UFC 190

On Saturday night, Ronda Rousey has a big fight against Bethe Correia in Brazil, and there is a good chance that professional wrestling fans are going to be seeing a familiar face. Stephanie McMahon is rumored to be heading down to South America to show support for Rousey. The two of them have developed quite the friendship backstage. There is also a business aspect to the potential visit.

Uhaa Nation has been given a new theme song to use in NXT, and it is interesting to note that it is a piece that was utilized on the very first episode of Impact Wrestling that aired on Destination America. Since that could be grounds for a lawsuit, someone might have made a mistake backstage. A change should be expected soon, as the legal department already has their hands full with lawsuits.
