Despite all the hype, ROH failed to even crack the top 100 cable television show for the evening. Joe Koff and company are already aware that they are running a replay, so most of their fans have already seen the episode.

When it comes to the independent wrestling circuit, one of the more well known names and most underrated performers around is Cliff Compton. He is now getting another chance to sign. The former WWE star has signed a contract with GFW during the second wave of roster announcements. The veteran performer has improved tremendously since he was a part of the Deuce and Domino tag team. He is heavily praised by those in the industry.

Chael Sonnen to GFW

Chael Sonnen is a good talker, loves professional wrestling and has name value from his career in UFC. Those three reasons are why expressed interest in signing him to a contract. However, the former MMA star has opted to join GFW instead. The announcement was made this morning that Sonnen would be joining the company and serving as an analyst. This deal has led to speculations that Global Force Wrestling is close to a television deal.

As soon as word spread that Mickie James was making a big announcement on Impact Wrestling later on this week, rumors started to spread that the popular Knockout was going to be announcing her retirement. That is definitely a possibility as she is now a mother. However, TNA could be pulling a swerve by having her announce something entirely different. It could end up being something as simple as Mickie signing a new contract.

The promotion will hold shows at various minor league sports stadiums across the country. Jarrett has already secured several dates for Global Force Wrestling, and he is still negotiating more shows as well. The company is expected to announce some recognizable names for their roster soon.

Since there has been no announcement, a lot of fans are under the assumption that Jeff Jarrett is not working on his roster. That is simply not the case. It has now been revealed that GFW has reached out to several of the top independent wrestlers to negotiate deals with them. Some have already signed, but Global Force Wrestling is not ready to make the announcement just yet. They want to build a deeper pool of talent first.

One of the more discussed reasons was that the diminutive diva is pregnant. The former United States Heavyweight Champion has been quite pleased with how the company has been utilizing him since he started with them. His status with the company had been a bit of a question mark with Samoa Joe leaving.

It appears that TNA remains committed to keeping the talent level of the Knockouts division at a high level. An announcement was made today by John Gaburick on social media that Angelina Love has been signed to a contract extension. She will remain with the company for at least another year. The front office has been working diligently on signing performers to new deals since Impact Wrestling was moved to Destination American in January.
