Another step forward has been taken by Jeff Jarrett and GFW. An announcement has been officially made about an upcoming tour this summer. The promotion will hold shows at various minor league sports stadiums across the country. Jarrett has already secured several dates for Global Force Wrestling, and he is still negotiating more shows as well. The company is expected to announce some recognizable names for their roster soon.

Jeff Jarrett signing talent

Since there has been no announcement, a lot of fans are under the assumption that Jeff Jarrett is not working on his roster. That is simply not the case. It has now been revealed that GFW has reached out to several of the top independent wrestlers to negotiate deals with them. Some have already signed, but Global Force Wrestling is not ready to make the announcement just yet. They want to build a deeper pool of talent first.

After the shock of her retirement announcement wore down a bit, the internet wrestling community then began to speculate about the reason why AJ Lee was leaving her dream job in WWE so soon. One of the more discussed reasons was that the diminutive diva is pregnant. That appears to be unlikely, as the front office would never allow her to work at Wrestlemania and the following Monday Night Raw in that condition.

He recently teased through social media that there is a big announcement coming for House of Hardcore. The ECW legend stated that he is waiting for contracts to be finalized. With his track record, it would not come as a shock to anyone if he were able to secure a television deal for his events.

It looks like MVP has found himself a new home in professional wrestling. The official announcement has been made in regards to him signing a new contract to remain with TNA for at least another year. The former United States Heavyweight Champion has been quite pleased with how the company has been utilizing him since he started with them. His status with the company had been a bit of a question mark with Samoa Joe leaving.

It appears that TNA remains committed to keeping the talent level of the Knockouts division at a high level. An announcement was made today by John Gaburick on social media that Angelina Love has been signed to a contract extension. She will remain with the company for at least another year. The front office has been working diligently on signing performers to new deals since Impact Wrestling was moved to Destination American in January.

While he is highly unlikely to ever be back with the company, Jeff Jarrett is going to be in northern Caliornia when Wrestlemania takes place. After all, that is the center of the wrestling universe. Rumors have surfaced that he is saving his big announcement about GFW until that weekend. Since there hasn't been a lot of news about his negotiations to get a television show, Jarrett will most likely reveal news on the roster and live events.

A lot of rumors have been swirling around GFW since their first announcement. You can rule out the one about Vince Russo joining the company as the lead writer. During a recent interview, Jeff Jarrett flat out stated that he would not hire Russo at this point in time. The belief is that Jarrett does not want the negative connotation that surrounds Russo to affect the chance of Global Force Wrestling being accepted by the fans from the start.

Officials recently shed some light on the situation by stating that they are currently looking at guys outside of the promotion that they can bring in. It is being said that management is leaning towards using Bill DeMott and the other trainers as the host of the show. There are speculations that the move by the company is being done for financial reasons.
