Randy Savage paranoid about snakes

To give you an idea of just how shady the professional wrestling business used to be, Randy Savage was said to have been paranoid about doing the segment where Jake Roberts ties him up and lets the snake bite him in the arm. The idea was created by Vince McMahon. Savage had issues trusting McMahon, so he had Roberts get the snake to bite himself backstage to make sure that it wasn't poisonous. He didn't want to find out on camera.

Jim Ross on Roman Reigns

When asked recently for his opinions on how WWE utilizes Roman Reigns, Jim Ross stated that he felt that management has miscast another performer. The legendary commentator stated that he does not know how World Wrestling Entertainment feels about Reigns being booed by fans because he is no longer with the company. Ross feels that the fans would not have turned on Reigns if he wasn't being pushed too hard. Fans resented him for that.

Kurt Angle meeting Triple H

Earlier in the month, Kurt Angle was in Columbus, Ohio to accept an induction into the International Sports Hall of Fame. During the same weekend, Triple H was also in town to film some segments for WWE at the Arnold Sports Festival. The two of them made time to have a little meeting. No word yet on what was discussed, but since Angle is no longer with TNA and is a free agent, the belief was that they discussed a possible return to World Wrestling Entertainment.

The working relationship between Mr Anderson and TNA appears to be over. According to reports, the company released the former world heavyweight champion due to his behavior backstage at a recent television taping. No further details from that situation have been revealed. Fans at independent wrestling live event were witnesses to Anderson trashing the company. No word yet on what he plans on doing with his career next.

Hayabusa passes away

Some very sad news to report from Japan. Wrestling legend Hayabusa has been found dead. Early reports are saying that he passed away from a subarachnoid hemorrhage. The man known legally as Eiji Ezaki was just 47 years old. Ezaki had been bound to a wheelchair for more than a decade after suffering a horrific injury during a wrestling match. Some may remember Hayabusa from a series of matches that he did for ECW.

Shane McMahon being paid

While all of the details of his contract have yet to be revealed, one interesting information on the pact between Shane McMahon and WWE has made it to the surface. The former vice president of World Wrestling Entertainment is being paid $120,000 for his appearances on Monday Night Raw before his big Hell in a Cell steel cage match at Wrestlemania against the Undertaker. That's more than what some full time performers are being paid.

Once Monday Night Raw ended, WWE cameras continued to capture footage as most of the performers backstage came out to the ramp to show appreciation for Daniel Bryan, who announced his retirement this week. Chris Jericho was spotted wearing a Social Outcasts shirt, and the former world heavyweight champion has been receiving praise from the internet wrestling community for showing support to the new stable.

The CEO is upset with Styles because he signed a deal with a toy company prior to signing his contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. This is the same company that signed Kevin Owens back when he was receiving his big push against John Cena last year.

The former United States Heavyweight Champion took to social media to deny that Lana has new backstage heat in WWE. He stated that websites are making up lies about her, so fans should be smarter by ignoring those unfounded allegations.
