Brad Maddox

WWE releases Brad Maddox

Since he was a natural talker, as evident by the fact that he was once utilized as the on screen general manager of Monday Night Raw, WWE kept Brad Maddox around for as long as they could to see if they could find something that will work for him. Apparently, that quest has been canceled. Maddox has been given his release from his contract. He is now free to work on the independent wrestling circuit.

When a member of the internet wrestling community threatens to give up on WWE, it is brushed off because those empty threats happen all the time. When a legendary performer like Mick Foley does it, though, then it becomes a serious thing. Through social media, the former world heavyweight champion stated that he was tired of watching a product that refuses to push the performers that he roots for.

There are rumors that Sami Zayn could be returning a little sooner than expected. WWE has been advertising his appearance on the upcoming tour of England. Generally, the company does not do that unless the performer is going to be there. Zayn has proven to be quite a draw overseas, so there is a chance that he could just be making an appearance and not actually wrestling for NXT.

Prior to being signed to a developmental contract with WWE, he was working on the independent wrestling scene. Since he needed to supplement his money, Harper also worked as a librarian for the city. He stated that he was in charge of keeping up with the text books.

There were small rumblings over the weekend that Mr Anderson was going to make a surprise appearance at the Survivor Series. That stems from the fact that the former world heavyweight champion was actually in Atlanta for the weekend. However, he was not there because of WWE. Anderson worked an independent wrestling show for a promotion owned by Luke Gallows.

The bashing subsided tremendously after Austin posted a message explaining what White really meant when he said those comments.

Now that they have secured a new television deal with POP TV, TNA officials have put plans in place to start filming more episodes of Impact Wrestling. Management has officially announced that Bethlehem, Pennsylvania will be the location for their new filming. The shows will take place in the beginning of January, so Dixie Carter is more than likely going to sign more performers before then.

That sounds about right since Ziggler signed his three year contract extension not too long ago. The belief is that he will venture out into other areas of the entertainment industry.

He stated that most wrestling fans got into the business in large part because they were fans of that promotion as a kid. He is no exception. With that in mind, he stated that he would absolutely love to work for a company that is a fan of. However, Lethal also noted that he would be fine if it never happened.
