Drew Galloway returns

While the move has been well received by the front office, the wrestlers backstage and TNA fans, there hasn't been a lot of buzz about Drew Galloway making his return to the mainstream professional wrestling scene in the United States. Management was hoping that his presence would draw in some WWE fans to Impact Wrestling, but that does not appears to be the case. Galloway is still quite the asset to the promotion, however.

They stated that he recently wrapped up filming The Battle of New Orleans, which is actually a working title. This is the first lead role in a movie for the former United States Marine. Interestingly enough, he played a member of an elite Navy SEAL as they engaged in a battle with an unknown opponent.

Davey Richards is not the only professional wrestler saving lives. While he doesn't do it routinely like the TNA star, Vampiro has done the same thing this week. He was at a McDonald's restaurant in Ontario when he spotted an elderly man having seizures. The Lucha Underground announcer immediately called 911 and did CPR. The paramedics arrived, and the old man survived. The man legally known as Ian Hodgkinson was heavily praised.

Davey Richards praised

A guy that has been receiving a lot of praise from his peers backstage is Davey Richards. People are impressed with his work ethics. He works all night as a paramedic. Instead of going straight home to sleep, he then hits the gym so that he can maintain his physique as a wrestler. Afterwards, he attends college classes to move up in the medical field. In between all of that, he somehow finds time to travel the world as a performer for TNA.

Chris Sabin to GFW

Since TNA started signing contracts with wrestlers again, it seems a bit surprising that there have not been a lot of news in regards to the company contacting Chris Sabin. It is being said that the former world heavyweight champion is not interested in making a return at this point because he wants to wait and see what Jeff Jarrett does with GFW. The belief is that a lot of free agents are doing the same thing as well.

Dreamer is reportedly not done with the final card for the event, so you can expect him to keep working the phones vigorously.
